There is more talent on the Blues team, but the Force often play well against the Aucklanders at home, so we’re taking the risk with the Force +9.5.

They come off a disappointing 56-24 loss to the Brumbies, which was a poor performance. However, they’ve had a week to recover and look at what went wrong, and there are some things going in their favour.

The Blues aren’t a good traveling team, and they suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Chiefs in Week 1. It was a game they should have won, so to let it slip won’t do their attitude any good. Therefore, the Force could capitalise and make a game of it.

The Blues are capable of a blowout win, but we can’t see it happening in Week 2 of the competition.

Playing on the road in Perth is the worst road trip for the Blues, and the travel from Auckland won’t do their chances any good.

We still expect them to win outright, but it should be by a 1-12 margin, which pays a handsome $2.90 with Super Rugby odds.
