5:00am Leigh Leopards vs Wigan Warriors @ Leigh Sports Village, Leigh

The last time these two sides met was under controversial circumstances in the final match of the regular season last year, where Wigan held on late to win in a tight battle.

Both sides are coming off round 6 losses – Wigan to Saints and Leigh to Salford -and will both be desperate to bounce back.

I expect this match will be closer than the line suggests with Leigh matching Wigan’s intensity.

5:00am Castleford Tigers vs Salford Red Devils @ Mend-A-Hose Jungle, Castleford

Salford are coming off a bounce back win vs Leigh with Marc Sneyd continuing to steer the Red-Devils ship in career best form.

Meanwhile Castleford hung with Leeds for 65 minutes at home last week but were ultimately beaten 26 to 6 in a score line that did not reflect their improvement.

I think Salford’s relentless attack and willingness to push the pass will stretch Castleford throughout the match.

5:00am Leeds Rhinos vs Warrington Wolves @ AMT Headingly Stadium, Leeds

The Leeds new spine looked to be clicking late in the game against Castleford last weekend showing what they are capable of when they put it together.

Warrington on the other hand came up against their first real test since the season opener, letting Catalans get out to an early 18-point lead which they failed to chase down.

This match-up could go down to the wire.

5:00am Hull KR vs London Broncos, Sewell Group Craven Park, Hull

In what should be another easy match-up for the Kingston Rovers this weekend, the big question will be by how much?

London is continuing to punch above its weight with the many obstacles they’ve faced this season, but I just can’t see them beating anyone other than Hull FC at this stage.

Hull KR Coach Willie Peters does not look like he will rest players for the clash, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a few received an early mark if they have a big lead which could impact the spread.

12:00am Hull FC vs Huddersfield Giants @ MKM Stadium, Hull

Hull FC will be desperate for a win in front of their home crowd after getting belted at home by Leigh a few weeks back which saw fans head for the exits early.

Huddersfield are coming off a cruisy 26 to 6 win over the London Broncos in a match-up that probably should have had a bigger score line.

I expect Huddersfield will win this one.

5:05am Catalans Dragons vs St Helens @ Stade Gilbert Brutus, Perpignan, France

Catalans were strong out of the gate against Warrington last week scoring three tries in the first 20 minutes.

St Helens on the other hand traded punches with Wigan and scored two tries in the final ten minutes to put the sword to the premiers.

This is a match of the round contender and I think Paul Wellens men will be looking to travel to France and stamp their authority with a statement win.
