2025 FIFA Club World Cup Tips
—
Outright Winner
Real Madrid ($5.00)
Change is afoot at Real Madrid, with Xabi Alonso coming in to replace Carlo Ancelotti and this looks set to be a baptism of fire for him. Following a tough spell in La Liga and an early exit in the Champions League, Real decided to opt for change and their expensively assembled squad will be the side to beat in this one. Tournament football tends to bring out the best of Real and they look very well placed to enjoy a decent campaign here.
PSG ($6.00)
European champions PSG will be chomping at the bit to get going here, fresh off the back of their incredible Champions League win last month and stopping them will not be easy. Luis Enrique’s men look ready to dominate the European footballing landscape for the next few seasons, and this would be a chance for them to cement their legacy. Whether it is a bridge too far after winning the Champions League remains to be seen but they are the form pick heading into this one.
Manchester City ($6.50)
Another team in transition will be chasing glory here in Manchester City, who endured a difficult season last time out. The blues still have Pep Guardiola in charge but are reshuffling their squad ahead of this one, with plenty of Europe’s most exciting talents being touted to head to the Etihad. This is a chance for City to build some momentum ahead of next season and they could be in a good place to have a real go here.
Bayern Munich ($8.00)
Vincent Kompany has brought Bundesliga glory back to Bayern Munich this season and the Belgian will be chasing worldwide acclaim in this one. Bayern have been one of the most consistent outfits in European football in recent times and they will be wanting to pit their wits against the best teams in the world here. If they build momentum through the tournament, Bayern should be well placed to go deep, and they could be a touch overlooked by some punters.
Golden Boot Winner
Kylian Mbappe ($4.00)
Real Madrid will be leading the charge here at the Club World Cup and Kylian Mbappe is going to be their talisman here. Whether it will be enough to get Madrid over the line remains to be seen but Mbappe enjoyed a decent campaign for Real last term and his consistency in front of goal makes him the leading Golden Boot candidate for this one.
Harry Kane ($5.00)
Fresh off the back of winning his first trophy, Harry Kane will be hoping to fire Bayern Munich to Club World Cup glory here in the United States. Kane continues to be one of the leading marksmen in European football and his consistency over the past decade has been unrivalled. He will need to have a good tournament if Bayern are to have any chance of going all the way and he will carry their main goal threat.
Erling Haaland ($6.00)
Manchester City endured a season to forget in 2024/25 but Erling Haaland remains their main man. The Norwegian still bagged over 30 goals in all competitions, in an injury hit campaign and he will be out to set the record straight in this one. City will be seeking fluency from the outset here and if they can find it, they and Haaland could well have a very good tournament.
