We have Wallabies vs. Pumas predictions for the Rugby Championship game on Saturday September 14 at 2:00 pm.
It took all of 85 minutes for Australia to win last week, but it could be a more comfortable victory for the home team at Allianz Stadium.
Australia vs. Argentina Predictions
—
Best Bet
We narrowly missed out with Australia –4.5 last week, but it was a game Australia was lucky to get away with. Argentina had a big second half lead, but playing two physical games against the All Blacks took its toll late.
It’s good to see Australian rugby getting back to a competitive level, and that’s why we’re backing them –5.5 for Saturday’s game. They have a renewed confidence under coach Joe Schmidt, and he could keep improving his team.
A more concentrated effort is needed by the Wallabies to cover the spread, but with a big crowd expected in Sydney, they should perform their best and win by at least a converted try.

Same Game Multi
We backed Max Jorgensen and Corey Toole to score tries last week, and although they didn’t score, that could change this time around.
Jorgensen is one of the better ball runners for Australia, and punters get $1.87 odds for the classy Wallabies player to score. That’s slightly shorter than Toole, who is a $1.98 second favourite to put his name on the try scorers’ list.
Toole has the speed to get around most Argentinian defenders. He had his chances last week, and he will look to improve on that performance.
It should be another high-scoring game, so include over 54.5 points. The final score could be around 34-24.

Best Value Bet
Picking the correct winning margin to within four points isn’t easy, but we can’t turn down the value for Australia 11-15.
We believe the winning margin will be right around the 13-point mark, so we’re happy to take the $7.50 odds. Australia should win comfortably, but Argentina is good enough to keep it close early before Australia’s fitness edge sees them pull away.
