The offence could get anything going, scoring just 71 points in a 77-71, and now the Boomers need to rebound against a tough Serbia team.

Australia started their Olympic campaign with a gutsy win over Spain, and that put them in a good position to make the medal matches. However, after loses to Canada and Greece, they’re on the outside looking in.

Serbia lost to USA in its first game before scoring wins over Puerto Rico and South Sudan. They aren’t the hardest teams to beat, but Nikola Jokic is causing problems for opposing defences, and he could cause Australia plenty of problems.

We don’t see how the Boombers are going to defend the NBA MVP, and that’s why Serbia is the current favourite to win the game.

Serbia is currently paying $1.34 to win outright, with Australia at $3.30. The line is 6.5 points, which is a sizable start for the Australians, and it should be enough to cover.
