It was good to see the Tigers produce the goods against Manly last week, winning 26-12, and they could end the year in fine form.

They also scored a win over the Bulldogs two weeks ago, so despite 2025 being another poor year for the Sydney-based franchise, it could end on a happy note with a few more wins.

The Cowboys were also good last week against the Knights, but consistency hasn’t been their strong point. Despite having a good team on paper, not much goes right on game day for the visitors, and that’s set to continue Sunday.

It was good to see Turuva end a long try-scoring drought with a try against Manly. He was a prolific try scorer for Penrith, but he hasn’t had many opportunities for the Tigers. If Jarome Luai gets him good ball, he should cap off a try.

We also like over 49.5 in what should be a free-flowing game. There is only pride to play for, and the Cowboys right-edge defence has been leaking points like there’s no tomorrow.
