The Panthers might have won both meetings in 2024, but the 2025 Panthers are a shell of their former selves. They have a 2-6 record following a poor 26-10 loss to the Sea Eagles last week, and the Broncos come off a big win over the Bulldogs.

It was played in wet conditions, but the big Broncos forward pack was destructive, and they could do the same against an undersized Panthers pack on Sunday. The Panthers confidence levels are low, and that won’t help matters.

Nathan Cleary isn’t playing his best, and the players they lost last year, including Jarome Luai, have taken the excitement out of the back line. They look run-of-the-mill now, and the Broncos are our best bet to take advantage.

The –2.5 line is generous for a team that should win by at least a converted try.
