The NRL continues this week for Round 20 action, kicking off with the Dolphins vs Cowboys on Thursday night.
We have NRL betting tips for every game in 2025, including this week’s featured games between the Sharks vs Roosters and Storm vs Sea Eagles.
NRL Round 20 Tips

Thursday 17/7/25
The Dolphins couldn’t beat the Sharks last week, but they should be at full strength for this game, which gives them the edge over the Cowboys.
We have been disappointed with the Cowboys, who have an excellent team on paper, but after leading 8-0 against the Bulldogs last week, the failed to score a point in the last 50 minutes.
Based on that, the Dolphins should be too strong at home.

Friday 18/7/25
With Sam Walker back in the Roosters team, they are a different beast, and they could keep winning against the Sharks on Friday.
Cronulla has been one of the more inconsistent teams in 2025, and although it won last week against an understrength Dolphins, it wasn’t entirely convincing.
The Roosters are marching towards the playoffs, and if they stay injury free, they could dominate.

It’s fair to say the Panthers are back to their best after producing the goods against the Eels last week, and they could continue their winning streak on Friday night.
Playing the Rabbitohs can be tricky, but the Panthers have clicked into top gear, and they’re still a threat to win the premiership.
The Rabbitohs languish in 16th spot, so they’re looking towards 2026.

Saturday 19/7/25
The Eels are starting to rest their best players in the hopes of giving the younger players some game time, which should allow the Raiders to dominate on Saturday.
The Raiders are one of the best teams in the NRL, and they look to keep their place at the top of the NRL premiership as a –11.5 favourite.
That line is good enough to include in NRL multi bet this week.

The Bulldogs came out of the blocks slowly against the Cowboys in Round 19, but they showed good defence to hold them out in the second half.
With that minor scare under their belt, they should come out with more emphasis against the Dragons, who can’t be trusted to produce an 80-minute performance.
We’re happy to back the Bulldogs to cover the –8.5 spread, and that could move to double digits on game day.

We’re backing another favourite to cover the spread this week, especially as teams start to fall away as the finals approach.
The Sea Eagles could be one of those teams, and playing the in-form Storm won’t help their chances. Cameron Munster is set to return after having last week off following State of Origin, so that helps their chances of winning.
They typically play well against Manly, so take the home side to win.

Sunday 20/7/25
We are giving the Titans one last chance to show something. They didn’t play too poorly against the Broncos last week, and at least the game was competitive in the early stages.
The Wests Tigers didn’t show much against the Warriors, in what was a poor-quality game from the visitors. They made countless errors and didn’t build pressure, so we’re not surprised to see them struggling once again.
Getting a +5.5 start is good enough to snap up.

The Warriors adjusted to life without many of their top players last week, and it was good to see Tanah Boyd slot in and play well.
They should get some players back for Sunday’s game, and having a full week to recover for this game adds to their appeal.
They are a top four team, and the Knights are making a habit of losing.
