The Warriors started the year with a bang after posting easy wins over the Roosters and the Raiders. They won by a combined 58 points, and although the Knights are also unbeaten, it has been less convincing.

However, it’s the injury situation in Newcastle as to why we’re backing the Warriors. They were already without Fletcher Sharpe, but losing Kalyn Ponga and Dylan Brown is a massive hit to their team, so we can’t bet on them with any confidence.

This is a must-win for the Warriors, because if they lose to Newcastle, all their hard work so far comes undone. We have faith in the Warriors turning up and producing the goods, and Tanah Boyd is making an early case for the Dally M Medal.
