It won’t be an easy win for the Eels, but we feel that they match up well against the Dolphins. The Eels lost 28-18 to the Sharks last week, but the game was much closer than that. They weren’t too far away from winning, and the signs are positive.

Getting Mitch Moses back was a big help, and their form has improved since. They defeated the Wests Tigers 38-22 two weeks ago, and that’s a tidy form guide when coming up against a Dolphins team struggling with form.

The Dolphins lost big to the Raiders and Roosters, and giving up early leads is becoming costly. We can’t trust the Dolphins, so the $1.80 odds for the Eels at home is a good bet in the Round 10 opener.

He is a $1.66 favourite to score a try, and in a game where we think offence will shine, he’s likely to cross the line for a try. As is Tabuai-Fidow, who also scored a double last week. He and Addo-Carr are two of the fastest in the NRL, and speed is a luxury. Tabuai-Fidow is a $1.85 chance to score a try, which is one of the better bets of the game.

Over 48.5 is worth including. There are a lot of points in these teams, with 60 points and 68 points being scored in their last two meetings. That adds weight to including the over in our NRL same game multi picks.

It could be one of those games where the Eels offence hits top gear, and looking to convert their opportunities will be Addo-Carr on the wing.

If Moses controls their attack like he usually does, Addo-Carr might only have to catch and put the ball down to score a few tries. He has six tries from his last four games, so scoring a hattrick isn’t beyond one of the best wingers in the NRL.
