Punters get value odds for the Dragons 1-12 at $2.85. It’s an excellent price in a game that should be close throughout, but we’re picking the Dragons to come out ahead against a team they have an incredible record against.

The Dragons are 29-15 against the Knights, and although they lost the last two games, the 2025 Knights aren’t as good as they used to be. The have just one win from their last three games, and that came against a Panthers team without half their players.

Look for the Dragons to be too good in the closing stages, with Origin stars Valentine Holmes and Damien Cook stepping up to the plate.

We’re not expecting a high-scoring contest, which is mostly due to the Knights struggling to score points. Prior to last week they had scored just 26 points in their previous two games, and there is a lack of cohesion on the back line.

However, we expect a couple of Dragons players to score, namely Christian Tuipulotu and Tyrell Sloan. Tuipulotu is having a breakout year with seven tries from his last five games, including a double against the Broncos.

Sloan also scored a double, which saw him end a two-game run without a try. However, Sloan is still one of the quickest players on the field, and his pace could see him score against the Knights. Both players are $1.74 to score a try, so include them in NRL same game multi predictions.

Tyson Frizell isn’t a name that’s associated with scoring tries, but the Origin player could crash over for a four pointer on Friday.

The Knights need him to become a threat close to the ruck, and with the defence unlikely to suspect him gunning for the line, he could catch them napping.

At the current odds of $8.25, he’s worth the risk, and the senior player could keep the Knights in the contest with a try.
