It hasn’t been smooth sailing for the Lions recently despite winning their last two games. They needed overtime to beat the Giants, but we’re happy to stick with them.

They face the Packers coming off back-to-back wins, but much like Detroit, they struggled to put away the Giants. It’s not the best form, and playing at Ford Field in Detroit could be too much of an ask for the visitors.

We’ve backed the Lions in every game this season, and we’re not about to change. The –2.5 line is generous with NFL odds, and there is something about taking the Lions on Thanksgiving Day that sits well with us.

Jahmyr Gibbs has been in fine touchdown scoring form, including three last week against the Giants. He’s one of the best running backs in the NFL, and he could carve his way through the Packers’ defence throughout the game.

Amon-Ra St. Brown hasn’t been as consistent, but quarterback Jared Goff should find him in the endzone. He has three touchdowns from his last five games, and punters get $2.10 to include in NFL same game multis.

It should be a high-scoring game, so include over 49.5. They combined for only 40 points earlier this season, but the Lions were poor in scoring only 13 points, and they will score 20+ points in this game.

The Lions have been starting their games well, and although the offenses could go back and forth with touchdowns, the Lions should have the edge in both halves.
