The NFL continues with Week 8 action, and we have NFL expert betting picks and predictions for every game of the year.
It starts with the Vikings vs. Chargers on Friday, and the featured games this week include Giants vs. Eagles, Bills vs. Panthers, and Packers vs. Steelers.
NFL Week 8 Predictions
—
Friday 24/10/25
The Vikings are good enough to score a road upset on Friday, and with the Chargers struggling to put everything together, we’re picking the upset.
We have been happy with the way the Vikings are playing, and they’re doing it without Justin Jefferson being targeted too much. That should change, so expect a big game from the Vikings wide receiver, who could score a TD.
Take the value +3.5 line in what should be a close game.

Monday 27/10/25
It’s not easy to bet on a team like the Falcons to cover a –7.5 spread, but we have given up on supporting the Dolphins.
We don’t think the head coach will last too much longer, especially if they keep losing, and there is confidence with the Falcons, who have done well to post a 3-3 record.
They should have too many offensive weapons for the struggling Dolphins.

We backed the Jets last week, which was an error. However, we’re going to the well and backing them to keep it close against the Bengals.
If the Jets can’t keep it close against a team like the Bengals, who are playing without Joe Burrow, then there is no hope for the franchise. Desperation must set in at 0-7, and punters are waiting for the right time to back them.
Week 8 could be that time, so give them one more chance.

The Patriots have been one of the surprise teams this season, posting a 5-2 record, and looking like a potential upset team in the playoffs.
There is a long way to go, but they should score an easy win over the Browns, who have been woeful in the scoring department for most of the year.
We suggest taking the –6.5 line before money comes for the home side throughout the week.

Having already beaten the Eagles two weeks ago, the Giants can cover the +7.5 spread on Monday morning.
They need to rebound after a shocking choke job against the Broncos, which won’t be mentally easy, but this team is full of youthful talent, and they could have short memories.
The Eagles aren’t as strong as previous years, so it could come down to the final drive.
Giants by 3
—
The Bills are a better team than the Panthers but covering a –7.5 spread on the road could prove too difficult.
Buffalo is 4-2 overall and 1-1 on the road, and the Panthers are 3-0 at home. That adds weight to our pick of the Panthers covering the spread, and they are growing in confidence.
The Bills are likely to win but take the Panthers to keep it close.
Bills by 6

It has been an awful start to the year for the Ravens, who were Super Bowl favourites before losing five of their first six games.
Injuries to their top players and costly turnovers haven’t helped, and although they could get Lamar Jackson back from injury, he missed practice, so we’re not confident he’ll be at his best for Monday’s game.
Chicago has improved, and it’s good enough to cover the +6.5 spread.
Eagles by 3
—
As the market suggests, there isn’t much between the 49ers and Texans, but we believe the 49ers are the much better team.
There has been good betting support for the Texans every week, but at 2-4, punters have been burned too often for our liking.
Take the $1.90 for the 49ers, who will lean on Christian McCaffrey and Mac Jones is playing well at QB.

The Saints won’t get a better chance to cover the spread against the Buccaneers, who lost to the Lions last week, and they also lost Mike Evans to a shoulder injury.
That doesn’t help their cause, and we weren’t impressed with what Baker Mayfield produced. He looked rushed in the pocket, so the Saints could pressure him.
It won’t be the most popular betting game of NFL Week 8 but include the Saints in multis.

The Broncos have pulled off some incredible wins in 2025, including last week when trailing the Giants 19-0, and looking to have no chance in the final quarter.
It was a stunning win, and it should give Bo Nix and the Broncos all sorts of confidence to beat teams like the Cowboys this week.
Being 3-0 at home is ideal form, so look for them to kick on with it and post another win.

It has been a fantastic start for the Colts, who lead the NFL at 6-1, and they have yet to lose a game at Lucas Oil Stadium.
We can’t see that changing on Monday against the hapless 1-6 Titans, who already appear to be looking at the offseason for a higher draft pick.
The Colts should run straight through them and post another comfortable win.

Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers have a good chance of beating the Packers, and we think NFL odds have the odds the wrong way around.
The Steelers are playing well enough to keep it close throughout the game, and with the experience of Rodgers at QB, that should mean a lot in the fourth quarter.
We can’t turn down the $2.47 odds for the home side.
Steelers by 3
—
Tuesday 28/10/25
We don’t think there is much between the Commanders and Chiefs, and Tuesday NFL games are typically close.
The Chiefs aren’t as explosive as they have been in previous years, and although the Commanders are dealing with some injuries, there shouldn’t be a big difference in the final score.
We predict the Chiefs winning by a touchdown.
