The NFL continues with Week 5 action, and we have NFL expert betting picks and predictions for every game of the year.
It starts with the 49ers vs. Rams on Friday, and the featured games this week include Broncos vs. Eagles, Buccaneers vs. Seahawks, and Chiefs vs. Jaguars.
NFL Week 5 Predictions
—
Friday 3/10/25
The 49ers have done well to post a 3-1 record despite injuries, but the Rams should be too good for them at home on Friday.
It has been a 3-1 start for the Rams as well, and playing at SoFi Stadium only helps their chances of posting a win and covering the spread against a 49ers team that could struggle to keep their unbeaten road record intact.
Take the Rams –6.5 before the line moves.

Monday 6/10/25
Betting on the Browns comes with some risk, but we think the neutral ground in London could help their chances.
The Vikings are only 2-2, and dealing with injuries at the quarterback position, and although the Browns are 1-3, this is a more desperate situation for them.
Take the underdog to pull off an upset.

It has been a good start to 2025 for the Colts, who have posted a 3-1 record, and that should continue to improve on Monday.
The Raiders haven’t got out of the starting blocks at 1-3, and we don’t see much hope for them on the horizon with Geno Smith at quarterback.
We recommend taking the –6.5 line before money comes for the home side.
Colts by 10
—
It was good to see the Giants make the change at quarterback when scoring an upset win over the Chargers last week. Jaxson Dart could be the energy boost they need, and the Saints are woeful at 0-4.
This is a game the Giants should be targeting as an easy win, and although there will always be trepidation in betting markets with the Giants, this is a good time to back them.
Giants by 7
—
The Jets are an awful NFL team, and they showed that when losing to the Miami Dolphins with a poor effort on Tuesday.
It was another loss for a struggling franchise, and although the Cowboys aren’t much better, posting a draw against the Green Bay Packers at 40-40 shows how potent their offence can be when they play well as a team.
The Cowboys should have too much scoring for the Jets to keep up.
Cowboys by 7
—
The Eagles produced the goods last week against the Buccaneers, and although it got close late, they never looked like giving up the lead.
Last season’s Super Bowl champions have made the perfect start to the year, and we can’t see the Broncos doing enough to upset the apple cart.
The –4.5 line is generous, as the Eagles should win by at least a touchdown.
Eagles by 10
—
The Dolphins scored a good win against the Jets, but losing Tyreek Hill to injury is a massive loss. We’re not sure they have enough weapons to put up points on the Panthers, who are 1-0 at home.
It’s hard for punters to be confident in teams like the Dolphins and Panthers, but if the home side is ever going to win a game, this is the ideal situation.
Panthers by 3
—
The Ravens have been hit with an injury crisis, and if Lamar Jackson isn’t playing, punters should expect the Texans to shorten.
They have made a terrible start to the year as pre-season Super Bowl favourites, and it could all unravel for them this week.
It’s a tough game to predict, but the Texans are healthy and good enough to win.
Texans by 7

Without a win from four games, the Titans are struggling as expected. Therefore, we’re backing the Cardinals to get it done.
Arizona hasn’t been its best at 2-2, but it’s playing better than Tennessee, so we’re happy to back the Cardinals at the –8.5 line.
That line could move to double digits on game day.
Cardinals by 10
—
Losing to the Eagles last week wasn’t ideal for the Buccaneers, and the Seahawks are playing well, but we can’t turn down the generous odds.
The Buccs made a good late comeback, and many of their points given up last week were from turnovers, so a better effort is expected this week.
Winning in Seattle is tough, but $2.45 is tough to turn down.
Buccaneers by 6
—
The Bengals are struggling without Joe Burrow at quarterback after another heavy loss to the Denver Broncos on Tuesday.
It’s an unlucky situation for our pre-season Super Bowl picks, but the Lions are now looking like a much better team to back after a 3-1 start.
They come off a bye, and they should be ready to post a big victory.

We never know what to make of the Chargers, who lost to the Giants last week after looking excellent in the first three games.
Their offence has always been the troubling aspect, as the defence is excellent. However, if Justin Herbert doesn’t throw interceptions, they should beat the Commanders at home.
Take the –2.5 line before it moves.
Chargers by 7
—
If there is one team that can cover an 8.5 spread, it’s the Bills at home. They have an electric offence, and although the Patriots have looked good at times, this should be a mismatch.
The Bills are 4-0 and looking like a Super Bowl contender. That’s good enough to back them on Sunday Night Football, and we expect a double-figure win.
Punters should expect money to come for the home side.
Bills by 10

Tuesday 7/10/25
The Chiefs got back to their winning ways last week, and we’re picking them to beat the Jaguars and cover the spread.
They are one of those teams that don’t always look good, but they will post a winning record and be a force in the playoffs.
Covering a –3.5 line shouldn’t be too hard on the road.
Chiefs by 7
