gobet nfl playoffs wild card tips

The NFL playoffs start this weekend with the Wild Card games, which features six games between some of the best teams in the NFL.

We have NFL betting tips for every game in 2025, including this weeks’ featured games between the Steelers vs Ravens, Packers vs Eagles, and Vikings vs Rams.

NFL Playoffs Wild Card Round Predictions

Sunday 12/1/25

8:30am Los Angeles Chargers vs Houston Texans @ NRG Stadium

Punters get value odds for the Chargers, who we believe are a much better team than the Houston Texans.

Los Angeles ended its regular season with three consecutive wins, and although they came against inferior opponents, having momentum heading into the playoffs helps.

Justin Herbert is better than C.J. Stroud, and Stroud has struggled with 12 interceptions, compared to just three from Herbert.

Take the Chargers –2.5, which has been confidently backed throughout the week.

Betting tip: Chargers –2.5 @ $1.85

12:00pm Pittsburgh Steelers vs Baltimore Ravens @ M&T Bank Stadium

We love the Steelers vs Ravens rivalry, but based on current form, the Steelers won’t have much chance of sticking with the Ravens.

Lamar Jackson is having one of his best years at quarterback, and although he’s not favourite to win MVP, he’s arguably having a better year than when he won MVP.

With 41 touchdowns and only four interceptions, Jackson should lead the Ravens to an easy win over the Steelers, who have been struggling to show their best over the last few weeks. Punters must take a –9.5 line, but they’re good enough to win and cover.

Betting tip: Ravens –9.5 @ $1.90

Monday 13/1/25

5:00am Denver Broncos vs Buffalo Bills @ Highmark Stadium

Credit the Broncos for making the playoffs, but the celebrations could be short-lived against one of the Super Bowl favourites.

The Bills are a much better team, and playing at Highmark Stadium should be enough to get the job done with ease against a Broncos team with a rookie quarterback, who hasn’t been in this situation before.

Josh Allen is having a good year and the Bills are 8-0 at home, and we don’t see that changing, so take the Bills to cover the –8.5 spread, in a game that could be decided before halftime.

Betting tip: Bills –8.5 @ $1.90

8:30am Green Bay Packers vs Philadelphia Eagles @ Lincoln Financial Field

The Eagles are our best bets of the week to cover the –4.5 spread, and we think they are criminally underrated this season.

They posted a 14-3 record, including 8-1 at home, and although the Packers are a dangerous team on their day, we don’t rate them on the same level as the Eagles, who have Super Bowl aspirations next month.

Getting a –4.5 line for the Eagles is generous, and we would have been prepared to take –6.5, so jump on the line before money comes for the Eagles throughout the week.

Betting tip: Eagles –4.5 @ $1.90

12:00pm Washington Commanders vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Raymond James Stadium

The Commanders did well to make the playoffs at 12-5, considering they weren’t expected to even get close to this stage.

Jayden Daniels has been brilliant in his rookie season, but going up against a red-hot Baker Mayfield could make it difficult, which is why the Buccaneers are $1.60 favourites to make it through to the next round.

There isn’t much between these teams, but we think the Buccaneers are better built for playoff football, and having home field advantage is a bonus.

Betting tip: Buccaneers –2.5 @ $1.90

Tuesday 14/1/25

12:00pm Minnesota Vikings vs Los Angeles Rams @ SoFi Stadium

There isn’t much between the Vikings and Rams with bookmakers, with the Vikings narrowly favoured at $1.85.

They are a tough team to beat in the playoffs, and Sam Darnold has had a great season at quarterback. His career was dead in the water, but after throwing 35 touchdowns, he’s back in action.

The Rams have backup QB Jimmy Garaoppolo at the helm, and we have never liked backing him under pressure. Therefore, despite playing on the road, which is a little unfair for a team with a much better record, we’re taking the Vikings.

Betting tip: Vikings @ $1.85
