7:00am Washington Commanders vs Philadelphia Eagles @ Lincoln Financial Field

The Commanders pulled off a big upset win over the Detroit Lions last week, and they should be full of confidence when facing the Eagles.

It’s rare to see a rookie quarterback in Jayden Daniels playing so well in his first year. However, he’s taking everything in his stride and we’re not ruling out the Commanders from making life tough for the Eagles.

They have won many games in the final few minutes, which often galvanises a team, but is it enough to beat the Eagles on the road? It’s about as tough as it gets, especially given how well the Eagles have played.

Boasting an 8-1 record at home, the Eagles deserve to be $1.34 favourites. They have rattled off four consecutive victories, and we like the way they dug deep to beat the LA Rams last week.

They haven’t been winning by big margins, which makes the –5.5 line interesting. Despite being the favourites, bookmakers believe the Commanders are good enough to keep it close, and so do we. They have plenty of big-game players, and it’s usually a close game between the Commanders and Eagles.

10:30am Buffalo Bills vs Kansas City Chiefs @ GEHA Field

It hasn’t been a vintage season for the Chiefs, but they keep finding ways to win. There have been complaints that Patrick Mahomes gets favourable calls, and although that can be true, he’s still the best quarterback in the league.

He knows how to win games for his team, and although Bills QB Josh Allen is arguably having a better year, his record in the playoffs isn’t good, especially compared to the insane record of Mahomes.

The Bills got through a close game against the Baltimore Ravens, which should have gone to overtime. It was a gutsy performance, but it came at home, and now they play the Chiefs at GEHA Field, who are 8-0.

Class and playoff experience is with the Chiefs, so we’re finding it tough to bet against them. They are 15-2 without playing their best football, which should be scary though for the visiting Bills, who don’t know what it takes to win the AFC Championship.

Punters can’t overlook the Chiefs’ playoff experience, and we’re jumping on the $1.79 line. It’s a good price from bookmakers given the situation, and we expect Mahomes, and also the Chiefs defence, to stand up and make another Super Bowl appearance.

We priced the Chiefs around $1.52, and we would love to see the anti-Chiefs fans have to endure another week of misery. They are the best team in the NFL over the last 10 years, and there is no reason to bet against them on Monday.
