The Chargers got away with an overtime win last week, but the broken hand of Justin Herbert is a big worry. He didn’t make many passing plays in the second half, and the Chiefs should be able to take the advantage.

There is a lot of pressure on the Chiefs to win after losing their last two and scoring only 10 points against Houston. That was one of their worst performances in years, so now is the time for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs to step up to the plate.

They need to win every game left on the schedule just to have a chance of making the playoffs, but this is a champion team and covering a –4.5 spread at home against an injured Chargers team shouldn’t be hard.
