It has been an impressive defensive performance from the Chargers so far, who scored wins over the Chiefs and Raiders. They held the Raiders to only nine points on Tuesday, and they came away with many turnovers.

Not only do they have Justin Herbert at quarterback, but the defence is excellent. Khalil Mack got injured, but they have enough depth to cover him, and another big showing against the Broncos is likely.

Expectations weren’t high for the Broncos, who are 1-1. They should have won last week after getting penalised when the Colts missed a late field goal. However, that loss could have a flow-on effect, and the Chargers have no scar tissue.

Take the generous –2.5 line before money comes for the Chargers throughout the week.
