The Phoenix look to close the gap on the Adelaide 36ers, and a win over the Wildcats on Thursday night could get it done.

They are one of the form teams in the NBL, having posted four wins from their last five games, and they’re shooting at a great clip. They showed that when beating the Breakers last week, scoring 123 points.

If they score anywhere close to that, the Wildcats could be in for a long night at home, and the Wildcats had a chance to make their lives easier last week, but a loss to United when scoring just 73 points didn’t help.

We expect the Phoenix to score a comfortable win. They have too much scoring power for the Wildcats, and it’s a three-pronged attack with Nathan Sobey, Ian Clark, and Wes Iwundu.

Much of the scoring for the Phoenix should come from Ian Clark and Nathan Sobey, with the latter looking to turn around two underachieving performances.

Sobey scored only nine points against Cairns, but it was an easy win, so he wasn’t asked to do much. We have him scoring 20+ points against the Wildcats.

We also like Clark to have 15+ points. He has been electric in the second half of the season, scoring totals of 27, 24, and 19 points in his last three games. He’s a good NBA same game multi bet addition.
