NBL Round 9 Predictions
—
Wednesday 12/11/25
The Bullets get home court advantage, and it should be a big crowd at the Gold Coast. There will be some expat Kiwis in the crowd, but this is a game the Bullets should win.
They produced an epic comeback to beat the Breakers in Round 6, and with Casey Prather scoring at a good clip, they should have too much scoring power for the visitors.
Take the generous –3.5 line for a team pushing for a playoff spot.

Thursday 13/11/25
The 36ers have three wins from their last five games, and although they left last week disappointed not to beat the Wildcats, they could bounce back on Thursday.
The JackJumpers have struggled with consistency, and losing four consecutive games could be too hard to bounce back from. They have lost a couple of close games, which can have an adverse effect on their mental state.
Therefore, take the 36ers to get the job done on the road.

Friday 14/11/25
The Phoenix are one of the best NBL teams, which is why they are –8.5 favourites to dispose of the struggling Taipans.
It has been a tough year, once again, for the Taipans. They are trying to avoid the wooden spoon, and we can’t see them scoring an upset win over the Phoenix, who have four wins from their last five games.
After losing to United last week, the Phoenix want a redemption win, and it’s likely to come easily against the Taipans.

Saturday 15/11/25
United rebounded from two losses with a tough win over the Phoenix, and that’s why they’re still favourites to win the title.
Their depth is unmatched, and that should be enough to win and cover the spread against the Bullets. We like the Bullets to beat the Breakers earlier in the week but playing twice in a few days could be too much.
Back United to make a statement to the teams chasing them.

It could be a tough week for the Breakers, and traveling to Perth isn’t going to help their cause.
The Wildcats come off an inspiring win over the 36ers, where they overwhelmed their opposition. The same thing could happen again on Saturday night against the Breakers.
With only three wins on the season, the Breakers are struggling, and that’s likely to continue.
Wildcats by 8

Sunday 16/11/25
The Kings match up well against the Hawks, and punters get value odds for the visitors on Sunday afternoon.
After winning three games on the bounce, the Kings have firmed in NBL Championship markets, and a win over the Hawks would see that price firm even shorter.
We’re confident in a Kings victory, so take the $2.05 odds.

It could be a big week for the 36ers, who look to go 2-0. They play the easiest team in the NBL, and punters should expect a win.
There is too much depth with the 36ers for the Taipans to handle, and although the Taipans have one win from their last two games, that was their only recent win.
It should be one-way traffic to end Round 9.
