The NBL tips off this week for Round 6 action, kicking off with the Taipans vs. Wildcats on Wednesday night.
We have NBL betting tips for every game in 2025/26, including this week’s featured games between the Breakers vs. Bullets and Phoenix vs. Kings.
NBL Round 6 Predictions
—
Wednesday 22/10/25
The Wildcats have suddenly hit a wall with consecutive losses, but they’re playing better than the Taipans, who have posted four consecutive losses.
Cairns haven’t played too poorly in their losses, but it’s missing a key piece. That’s why we’re backing the Wildcats, who have a good team top to bottom, despite losing Bryce Cotton to the Adelaide 36ers in the offseason.
Getting $1.80 for the Wildcats against Cairns is a good price.

Thursday 23/10/25
The Breakers don’t tend to play well at Eventfinda Stadium compared to Spark Arena, and the Bullets could fire another shot.
Consistency has been tough for the Breakers and Bullets, but with their scoring talent, we’re backing the Bullets to outscore the home team.
Look for Casey Prather and Jaylen Adams to put up plenty of points and overwhelm the Breakers.

The Phoenix and Kings have traded wins and losses over the last five games, which makes this one a tough game to predict. However, we’re backing the home side.
There is a renewed energy at South East Melbourne, and although the Kings have plenty of talent, there are some worrying signs with Kendric Davis and Xavier Cooks, with the latter missing just about every free throw he looks at.
Momentum is important in this game, and the Phoenix could grab the early lead and never look back.

Friday 24/10/25
United has yet to lose a game, and we can’t see that record being snapped by the Taipans.
Cairns get the benefit of playing two home games in three days, but United has scoring all over the floor, and they’re the best team in the competition.
Take the $1.30 odds and include them in NBL multis, and the –6.5 line is also worth snapping up.

Saturday 25/10/25
We’re happy to back the Phoenix in Round 6, and punters get value odds of $1.80 against the Bullets.
Brisbane must travel to New Zealand and back within a few days, and the Phoenix could be ready and waiting for another big performance.
Punters get value NBL odds, which are likely to shorten close to tip-off.

The Hawks aren’t doing a good job of defending their title, but turning down $2.50 against the Wildcats is tough.
We’re happy to take a risk with the visitors, and although winning in Perth isn’t easy, the Hawks need to start showing their 2024/25 form, and it could start this week.
This is a pure play because of the odds, so include them in NBL picks.

Sunday 26/10/25
The 36ers get long break in Round 6, but despite United having already played this week, they should have too much for the 36ers to handle.
Cotton is a ridiculous talent, but he can’t do everything himself. Until the 36ers get another scoring import, they could struggle to put wins on the board.
The safer bet is United –4.5, so we’re happy to back them.

It could be a tough week for Sydney, and we’re taking the value underdog odds for the JackJumpers.
They haven’t been the most consistent team this year, but they have shown enough to give the Kings something to worry about.
It should be a close game, so take the odds.
