NBL Round 15 Predictions
—
Wednesday 31/12/25
The JackJumpers come off a big win over the Phoenix, and that holds them in good stead against the Hawks on Wednesday night.
The Hawks have been disappointing in an effort to defend their title, even with JaVale McGee, they can’t seem to find their rhythm.
Therefore, we’re backing the JackJumpers to improve their playoff chances.

It’s hard to trust what the Phoenix are going to do after losing to the JackJumpers on Monday night, and they don’t have much time to turn that form around.
We’re backing the Taipans to keep it close despite being out of playoff contention. They only need Jack McVeigh to play well to cause an upset.
Getting a +8.5 start at home is enough to back the underdog.

Thursday 1/1/26
The Bullets come off a big loss to the Kings, losing 95-70, and we can’t see them rebounding quickly enough to beat the Wildcats.
We expect money to come for the Wildcats, who are in the playoff hunt, and they could be set for a big week in the NBL.
Back the visitors to come away with a comfortable win.
Wildcats by 7

Friday 2/1/26
The Kings might have the winning streak going, but the 36ers the NBL title favourites and with good reason.
Bryce Cotton is leading his team to the finals in fine style, and although the Kings will present a challenge on Friday night, we have the 36ers doing enough to repel the challenge.
Punters should expect around $1.70 from bookmakers, so include them in NBL multis.

Saturday 3/1/26
Bookmakes will have the Hawks favoured to beat the Taipans, and with two home games in Round 15, the Hawks should come away with at least one win.
That’s likely to come against the Taipans, who aren’t the best road team, and they are only playing for pride, which makes winning on the road tough.
Include the Hawks in basketball picks this week.

It’s a big game for both clubs on Saturday night, but it could be more important for United, who have slipped for their perch.
After starting the season red-hot, United has posted three losses from their last five games, but they’re still a quality team.
They have enough weapons to hand the JackJumpers a loss at home.
United by 5
—
Sunday 4/1/26
Beating the Breakers at Spark Arena isn’t easy, and although the Breakers have been well below their best over the last couple of weeks, they could get up for this game.
They have lacked shooting in 2025, which is a major concern, but if they get hot from behind the three-point line, the Wildcats could struggle to keep up.
It’s a risky bet but take the Kiwis to win.
Breakers by 4
—
The 36ers should have too much scoring power for the struggling Bullets, who continue to feel the effects of injuries.
Meanwhile, the 36ers are going about their business, and they’re now $2 favourites to win the title, which shows the market confidence.
Winning by double digits shouldn’t prove too difficult.

Monday 5/1/26
The Kings are marching their way to the NBL Finals, and the Phoenix are unlikely to stand in their way.
Even if the Kings lose to the 36ers earlier in the round, they will be warm favourites to beat the Phoenix, who are stumbling now.
We expect the Kings to be around –6.5 in betting markets.
