NBL Round 14 Tips
—
Wednesday 24/12/25
The 36ers should have far too much firepower for the Taipans, who couldn’t follow up a win over the Breakers with much against the Kings.
They were hammered 119-77 by Sydney, and the 36ers could produce a similar effort to stay at the top of the NBL ladder.
Back the home team to win and cover the –11.5 spread, as they ar the more balanced team.

Thursday 25/12/25
The Hawks aren’t doing a good job of defending their NBL title, but they have the players needed to keep it close against the Kings.
Momentum is with the Kings after four consecutive victories, but the Hawks have their backs against the wall, and the likes of JaVale McGee and Tyler Harvey could rise up and produce a much better performance on Christmas Day.
We expect a thrilling game, and the Hawks could deliver the goods.

Friday 26/12/25
The Breakers did not have a good week after losing to Cairns and Brisbane, which are the two worst teams in the NBL.
Their playoff hopes hang in the balance against the JackJumpers, who are one place ahead of the Breakers. Based on recent form, we’re backing the JackJumpers to put a nail into the coffin of the Kiwis.
If the Breakers can’t beat the NBL’s worst teams in this situation, they won’t take our Christmas money.

Saturday 27/12/25
The Bullets ended their long losing streak against the Breakers on Monday night, but consecutive wins are highly unlikely against United.
It has been a tough stretch for United, who started the season on fire before losing four consecutive games. We need to see more from Milton Doyle, who has looked disinterested at times, but he should have a big game against the Bullets’ defence.
United will likely be around –9.5, which is a line worth including in NBL multi bets.

Sunday 28/12/25
One of the games of the week is 36ers vs. Wildcats, and we give the edge to the home side. The 36ers play both their games at home, which is a huge advantage in an important week.
They have four wins from their last five games, and they could take advantage over a Wildcats team with only two wins from their last five. It’s hard to know what Perth will deliver, but punters know what Adelaide will do.
It will feature a lot of Bryce Cotton, the NBL’s leading scorer, and that’s enough to see the 36ers win.

Monday 29/12/25
There won’t be much between the JackJumpers and Phoenix, but we give the edge of the visitors.
They are back to their best with four wins from their last five games, and they are a genuine title threat with Nathan Sobey playing at an elite level.
They’re better than the JackJumpers, so back them to win.

Tuesday 30/12/25
The Kings are one of the best teams in the NBL, and they’re up against one of the worst, so it should be a one-sided affair.
The Bullets ended their poor form with a win over the Breakers, but they could come back to reality with a couple of losses this week.
It should be one-way traffic for the Kings on Tuesday night.
