It doesn’t take much to beat the Washington Wizards, so we’re backing the Hawks to win and cover the –9.5 spread.

It’s never easy to know what the Hawks are going to do, but they come off consecutive wins over the Pelicans and Hornets, which should get their confidence levels rising. They weren’t hard wins, but neither is beating the Wizards.

Washington is riding a lengthy losing streak, so bet on that to continue.

Hawks –9.5, Dyson Daniels Over 10.5 Points, Kristaps Porzingis Over 19.5 Points, Under 226.5 Points @ $12.50

Australian Dyson Daniels is best known for his defence, but he can score over 10.5 points. He had 22 points against the Hornets, which followed a 14-point effort, so we’re surprised by the line available with bookmakers.

We also like the line for Kristaps Porzingis. He comes off a 30-point performance, and against the Wizards, he should be licking his lips at the opportunity.

We can’t see the Wizards scoring many points, so under 226.5 points is worth including in NBA same game multi picks.

Magic vs. 76ers Predictions

The Magic have done well to post a winning record since they lost Paolo Banchero to injury, and we fancy them to beat the 76ers on the road.

The 76ers haven’t played their best recently, and although they beat the Bucks last week, they followed it up with a loss to the Miami Heat. That 127-117 loss came at home, and the Magic haven’t minded travelling this season.

Punters get $1.90 for the Magic to win, and they should prevail on the back of another strong scoring performance from Franz Wagner.

Magic H2H, Franz Wagner Over 24.5 Points, Joel Embiid Under 17.5 Points, Over 228.5 Points @ $8.50

Wagner cooled off with 15 points against the Celtics, but his form prior was excellent. He posted totals of 29, 18, 20, and 37 points, and although a tad inconsistent, his scoring ability is there. Take the over 24.5 line before it moves.

Joel Embiid had 29 points in his most recent game, but we see those numbers falling. He is injury prone, and he could be on limited minutes against the Magic. That’s why NBA betting lines have him at 17.5 points, so take the under.

Our final score prediction is 117-113, so we’re happy to include the over in our NBA predictions this week.

Clippers vs. Lakers Predictions

The Lakers have played much better than the Clippers, which is reflected in their records. There isn’t much going right for the Clippers, despite having a good team on paper, which is usually the case with them.

With LeBron James returning for the Lakers, they have even more depth to their lineup. Luka Doncic has been playing good offensive basketball, and his scoring numbers haven’t dipped too much since James came back.

This is a game the Lakers would have penciled as a must-win, and they should score convincingly.

Lakers –6.5, Luka Doncic Over 32.5 Points, LeBron James Over 6.5 Rebounds, Over 227.5 Points @ $9.50

There is no slowing down Doncic, who keeps delivering the goods. He can make his own shot, and he is making a case for the scoring title this season. The 32.5-point line is where we priced him, and he should go over the mark.

James could have a big day on the boards. He had six rebounds against Utah, and he should look to get out and start the fast break.

We thought the line would be around 235.5 points for the total. It’s unusually low for a Clippers vs. Lakers game, so we’re jumping on the over.
