We have NBA picks and predictions for Monday, November 24th, which features the Blazers vs. Thunder, Spurs vs. Suns, and Lakers vs. Jazz.
Our picks include a best bet and NBA same game multi, and we’re looking forward to the NBA action this week.
Trail Blazers vs. Thunder Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Blazers don’t have a bad team, and they come off a win over the Warriors, but the Thunder have been winning their games with ease. We expect that to continue Monday, which is why the line is set at –16.5 points.
Oklahoma City is making it a habit of winning, and back-to-back NBA Championships are there’s for the taking. They scored a 144-112 win over the Jazz last week, and their depth should be too much for the visitors here.
It’s not an easy line to take, but the Thunder should win comfortably in a one-sided game.
—
Same Game Multi
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander always posts big scores, and getting to the free throw line is a big part of that. He has scored 30+ points in four of his last five games, and he gets every chance of putting up big numbers against the Blazers.
Deni Avdija is playing well, having scored 26 points in his last game. However, the Thunder defence could swarm him, and he should struggle to get off clean shots. We’re taking under 23.5 points for the Blazers’ star.
Over 233.5 points is included in our NBA same game multi picks. The Thunder could score 130+ points, which would see it go over.
—
Spurs vs. Suns Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Suns are playing with more heart than usual, including an insane comeback against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday.
It was an amazing last minute of the game, and the addition of Dillon Brooks has galvanised this team. They play much tougher than when Kevin Durant was there, and that’s what they needed after low pre-season expectations.
The Spurs are without Victor Wembanyama, and although they have been winning without him, Devin Booker and Brooks should control the game for the Suns and cover the spread at home.
—
Same Game Multi
We expect Brooks to have another good scoring game. He had totals of 32 and 34 points last week, so he’s capable of putting it all together on the offensive end. He scored 22 points in the comeback win over Minnesota despite fouling out, so it was a good effort.
Pressure is on De’Aaron Fox to score in the absence of Wemby. It’s not easy to put up big numbers fresh off an injury, and although he’s playing well, punters should expect his scoring numbers to cool off in the coming weeks.
NBA trends have the game going over 235.5 points. It should be a free-flowing contest, so include the over.
—
Lakers vs. Jazz Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Lakers and Jazz meet for the second time in a week, and with the Lakers winning 140-126 at home, we’re backing them to cover the spread on the road.
They have pulled off three consecutive wins, and getting LeBron James back only helps their cause. He has been solid since returning, and it’s good to see Luka Doncic’s numbers stay strong despite giving up time with the ball.
The Jazz have struggled, scoring just one win from their last four games. We pick those struggles to continue, so include Lakers –9.5 in NBA SGM picks.
—
Same Game Multi
The Doncic scoring run is set to continue. He had 41 points against the Bucks before dropping 37 points against the Jazz last week, and we have him scoring something similar on Monday.
Lauri Markkanen is also scoring good numbers for the Jazz. He had only 19 points against the Thunder, but he scored 31 against the Lakers, which followed totals of 35, 40, and 47 points. We fancy him to score over 26.5 points with ease.
It should be a high-scoring affair, so include over 245.5 points in NBA multis.
