The Dallas Mavericks are unravelling before our eyes, and it’s sad to see. However, there is good money to be made betting against the troubled franchise.

They have lost three consecutive games to the Bucks, Suns, and Clippers, and the Trail Blazers look to rebound after losing to Houston. They didn’t lose too many admirers with that performance, as they’re a young team with good upside.

We have been impressed by Deni Avdija, who is putting up good numbers, and he could be the top scorer. Cooper Flagg isn’t experienced enough to lead the Mavericks without Anthony Davis on the floor, and the growing pains continue.

Trail Blazers –3.5, Deni Avdija Over 24.5 Points, Cooper Flagg Under 16.5 Points, Under 236.5 Points @ $9.00

Avdija is having an excellent year, and he has posted recent scoring totals of 26, 33, 27, 32, and 22 points. Against this Dallas defence, he could put up another solid total, and we have him scoring around 28 points for the visitors.

Flagg could struggle with the weight on his shoulders. He’s being asked for too much in this debut year, and he’s also dealing with a shoulder injury, which is never a good sign. Back him to have under 16.5 points in what should be a low-scoring game.

Hawks vs. Suns Predictions

It’s not easy to bet against the Suns when they’re riding a winning streak, but the Hawks have too much scoring talent to ignore.

The Hawks come off four consecutive wins following a loss to Toronto, and those wins came against the Lakers, Clippers, Kings, and Jazz. Those are solid wins, and they’re being led by team offence, with the likes of Jalen Johnson, Onyeka Okongwu, and Zaccharie Risacher all stepping up in the absence of Trae Young.

They’re playing positive basketball, and although the Suns are playing well, they never seem to be enjoying their work. We expect their winning run to come to an end.

Hawks -1.5, Jalen Johnson Over 21.5 Points, Dyson Daniels Over 5.5 Assists, Over 228.5 Points @ $8.50

Johnson has been excellent for the Hawks in his last two games, scoring a combined 55 points. He is easily capable of posting over 21.5 points, and the line is lower than expected. We’re including him in our NBA same game multi picks.

We also like Australian Dyson Daniels to record over 5.5 assists. Before having only three in his most recent game, he posted assist totals of 8, 13, 8 and 8. Those are some impressive numbers, and the young Aussie continues to impress at both ends of the floor.

Over 228.5 points is included as they are high-scoring teams.

Bulls vs. Jazz Predictions

The Bulls are one of our best bets of the day. They might be coming off four consecutive losses, but they have been tough games, and beating the Jazz isn’t the hardest thing.

They were unable to handle the Bucks, Cavaliers, Spurs, and Pistons in a tough stretch of games. The losing streak followed a positive start to the year, but a bounce back is on the cards, and they’re led by Josh Giddey.

His resurgence in Chicago is good to see, and with the Jazz posting only one win from their last five games, we would be surprised if the Bulls didn’t win comfortably.

Bulls –4.5, Josh Giddey Over 21.5 Points, Lauri Markkanen Under 27.5 Points, Over 243.5 Points @ $9.75

Giddey hasn’t been at his best in his last two games, scoring just 31 points in total. However, he was putting up big numbers prior to that with totals of 32, 23, and 29 points. We see his best scoring form returning against a poor Jazz defence.

Lauri Markkanen scored 40 points against the Hawks in a losing effort. He is being asked to score at a high level, but he could struggle to get going. 27.5 points is a sizable line, so take the under.

There is little defence played with both teams, so include over 243.5 points in your NBA multi picks.
