The Pistons didn’t quite cover the –4.5 spread against the 76ers on Monday, winning 111-108. However, it was a good effort, and playing the Wizards is a much easier task.

We love what Cade Cunningham has provided, and he chimed in with 26 points against the 76ers. Something close to that will be good enough for the Pistons to cover the sizable –11.5 spread against the visiting Wizards.

Washington is riding a lengthy losing streak, which isn’t unusual, and we expect that streak to continue Tuesday.

Pistons –11.5, Cade Cunningham Over 28.5 Points, Jalen Duren Over 20.5 Points, Under 236.5 Points @ $17.50

We’re sticking with Cunningham, despite going just under his total on Monday. It was a close-run thing, but he should get better scoring opportunities against a struggling Wizards outfit.

Jalen Duren should also get a chance to post his fourth consecutive game of 20+ points. He had 21 points on Monday, which followed a big effort of 30 points. His confidence has grown exponentially this season, so he’s worth including in picks.

Under 236.5 points goes into our NBA same game multi. The Wizards could struggle to score over 100 points.

Lakers vs. Hornets Predictions

The Lakers should have too much class for the Hornets. Luka Doncic is firing on all cylinders, and he’s a front runner for MVP.

Despite losing their most recent game, the Lakers were playing well. It was a blip on the radar, of what has been a solid start to the year without LeBron James. Doncic is showing that he’s good enough to lead this team to victory.

Charlotte has four losses from its last five games, and we can’t get excited by that form. Therefore, take the Lakers to win and cover the spread.

Lakers -7.5, Luka Doncic Over 35.5 Points, Collin Sexton Under 19.5 Points, Over 229.5 Points @ $10.00

We don’t often see a 35.5-point line, but that’s how dominant Doncic has been. He scored only 22 points in the recent loss, but he had totals of 49, 45, 29, and 35 prior to that. We expect him to fire against Charlotte, which doesn’t have much defence.

Collin Sexton could struggle to score for the Hornets. He averages 16.1 points per game, but the line is 19.5. It’s a pure numbers pick, and it’s worth including in NBA same game multi picks.

Over 229.5 points goes into the mix. Most NBA games have gone over recently, and the Lakers could put up a big total.

Bucks vs. Mavericks Predictions

There are concerns about how well the Mavericks are going. They won their most recent game, but Anthony Davis and Cooper Flagg didn’t play well.

Based on that, we’re going with the Bucks to steal a game on the road. They have only two wins from their last five games, but the physicality of Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks should be too much for the Mavericks.

Most of the early money has come for the Bucks to win, and we’re happy to include them in our NBA picks today.

Bucks –1.5, Cooper Flagg Under 14.5 Points, Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 30.5 Points, Over 231.5 Points @ $8.50

Punters should expect a big game from the Greek Freak, and bookmakers have the line at 30.5 points. He scored 41 and 37 points in his last two games, and we don’t see him slowing down anytime soon.

The Mavericks don’t have any defenders that can stop him, and he could get Cooper Flagg into foul trouble. That’s why we’re taking Flagg under 14.5, as well as his scoring issues to start the season. He hasn’t lived up to the hype.

Over 231.5 points goes into our NBA picks, as it should be a high-scoring contest in Dallas.
