It wasn’t long ago when the Spurs scored a 114-103 win over the Pistons in Detroit, and now they’re playing at home as only –3.5 favourites.

Detriot has played well, but the Spurs are one of the best teams in the competition, and despite a recent loss to the Knicks, they have looked unstoppable with Victor Wembanyama at the helm. He’s a generational talent, and he could give the Pistons fits.

There is enough depth for the Spurs to handle the Pistons, so we thought the line would be around –5.5. We’re not discrediting the likes of Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren, but the Spurs often come out ahead in these games.

Spurs -3.5, Victor Wembanyama Over 23.5 Points, Cade Cunningham Under 26.5 Points, Under 228.5 Points @ $9.00

We’re backing Wembanyama to score over 23.5 points. He had only 10 points in a disappointing effort against Philadelphia, but it was a one-sided game, so he didn’t play many minutes. That will change here, so expect him to score over 23.5 points.

Cunningham could struggle to get off clean shots. Wembanyama forces players to change their shots, and Cunningham could struggle to adjust. The 26.5-point line is high, so include the under in NBA same game multi predictions.

Based on their most recent game, under 228.5 is a good bet.

Injuries have made it tough for the Nuggets at times, but when they have Nikola Jokic, anything is possible. Covering a –4.5 line is possible against a Lakers team that could struggle on the road.

The Nuggets could do with a good showing from Christian Braun. He can get hot from the three-point line, and he’s a player desperate for a big showing. This could be the game where he shows up and delivers 20 + points.

It’s usually a high-scoring game, so include over 239.5 points in NBA picks.
