The Cavaliers might have lost to the Thunder, but playing the Hornets is much easier, and that hasn’t been reflected in betting markets.

We priced the Cavs at around –6.5, so the line is interesting. However, we expect the visitors to bounce back following the loss and get back to the form which saw them defeat the 76ers in consecutive games last week.

They are a good NBA multi bet on Thursday, so take the line.

Cavaliers –2.5, Donovan Mitchell Over 29.5 Points, Jaylon Tyson Over 6.5 Rebounds, Over 236.5 Points @ $8.75

If Donovan Mitchell has a big game, the Cavaliers typically win. We have him scoring over 29.5 points, and he needs to bounce back after two poor shooting performances.

Jaylon Tyson has been a surprise package on the rebounding front. He had 10 boards against the Thunder, so we’re backing him to have over 6.5 boards against a Hornets team that won’t shoot as well.

They scored 271 points in their previous meeting, so over 236.5 points goes in our NBA same game multi picks.

Hawks vs. Grizzlies Predictions

There has been solid betting support with NBA odds for the Hawks since trading Trae Young, but we don’t see why. They have lost four consecutive games, and with Memphis coming off a win over Orlando, it should be five on Thursday.

We have the Grizzlies being far too good at home, and Ja Morant is getting back to his best. He’s had recent scoring totals of 40 and 24 points, and if he’s making buckets, the Hawks won’t be able to stick with the Grizz.

Take the –2.5 line before money comes for them on game day.

Grizzlies -2.5, Ja Morant Over 19.5 Points, Nickeil Alexander-Walker Under 20.5 Points, Under 237.5 Points @ $10.50

The line is generous for Morant. He can score with the best of them in the NBA on his day, and we thought his line would be around –24.5, so we’re including him in our picks as a value bet.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker under 20.5 points is another value bet. He had 32 points against the Bucks in a losing effort, but he was red-hot from the three-point line. We can’t see him catching fire like that again, so take the under.

We’re also taking the under 237.5 points. We have the Hawks struggling to score points, which could see the final score around 117-108.

Pistons vs. Pelicans Predictions

The Pistons are one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, and they should roll straight through the Pelicans.

They come off a win over the Celtics, making it four wins from their last five games, and they are looking like the strongest contender in the conference. That doesn’t bode well for the Pels, who have four losses from their last five games.

It should be a one-sided game, so back the Pistons to score by double digits.

Pistons –9.5, Cade Cunningham Over 25.5 Points, Jalen Duren Over 10.5 Rebounds, Over 233.5 Points @ $10.50

Cade Cunningham is a great player to bet on. He is as consistent as they come, and we’re backing him to score over 25.5 points. He should have ample opportunity to score against a Pelicans’ defence that has seen better days.

Jalen Duren is a beast on the boards, and with the Pelicans expected to put up many missed shots, he could have another big game. He had 18 boards against the Suns, so punters should expect similar numbers.

They combined for 266 points in their last meeting, so over goes into our NBA same game multi.
