We have NBA picks and predictions for Monday, February 9th, which features the Celtics vs Knicks, Raptors vs Pacers, and Clippers vs Timberwolves.
Our picks include a best bet and NBA same game multi, and we’re looking forward to the NBA action this week.
Pelicans vs. Bulls Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Bulls got back to winning form with a victory over Charlotte, and although their form prior wasn’t good, they should handle the visiting Pelicans.
The Pelicans have a poor record when playing with the rest advantage, having lost their last 14 games. That’s a big concern when backing the Pelicans, especially as they haven’t been at their best this season.
Chicago gets a good chance to post back-to-back wins, and it has more depth with the likes of Josh Giddey, Coby White, and Nikola Vucevic.
—
Same Game Multi
We expect a big game for Vucevic, whose scoring has been down over the last three games. However, he should have no problems getting into the paint and scoring against the Pelicans. We’re backing him to score over 15.5 points with ease.
He could get premium passes from Giddey, who comes off an 11-assist game against the Hornets. That was a top effort for the Australian, who is loving playing for the Bulls.
Under 247.5 is worth including in NBA same game multi picks. It’s a big line, but some defence should be played.

New York Knicks @ Boston Celtics Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Celtics have won their last five games and the advanced metrics suggest they’ve been one of the NBA’s best teams this season.
Last time they played the Knicks at home, Boston won by six points, and I expect to see a similar score line this time around.
New York have been one of the best teams in the NBA on their home court, but on the road they have the second worst coverage rate in the league at 8-16.
Same Game Multi
OG Anunoby has been ultra-consistent this season and his recent form has been strong, averaging 19.1 points from his last 15 games where he’s hit 15+ points in 13 of those games including his last seven.
Jaylen Brown’s rebounding has been on display over the last six weeks, with the All Star averaging 8.6 rebounds from his last 19 games. Incredibly over this stretch he’s recorded 6+ rebounds in 18 of those games, and has hit 6+ in his last 15.
Josh Hart has averaged 7.2 rebounds in his last nine games, hitting 6+ in seven of those games – last time he faced the Celtics, Hart recorded seven rebounds and should hit 6+ again in this.
Indiana Pacers @ Toronto Raptors Predictions
Best Bet
The Raptors and Pacers will meet for the fourth time this season, and aside from their first meeting back in November they’ve played in some low scoring contests.
Last time they played in Toronto the total points landed at 192, while their most recent meeting four weeks back had the total score finish at 216.
Indiana has struggled to score on the road this season and have an overs coverage rate of just 33.3% away from home.
Same Game Multi
Jarace Walker has been playing solid minutes for the Pacers, hitting 30+ in his last two games. Over the last month, when playing 22+ minutes Walker averages 15.6 points and 6.4 rebounds, hitting 10+ points in all ten games, and 4+ rebounds in nine of the ten.
Andrew Nembhard is averaging 17.9 points in his last 16 games for the Pacers, hitting 15+ points in 11 of them. Although he only scored 14 last time he played the Raptors, they do concede points to point guards 5% above average over the last month.
LA Clippers @ Minnesota Timberwolves Predictions
Best Bet
The Clippers are adjusting to life without James Harden, and while Darius Garland remains sidelined I can see them having a few issues scoring.
Two starts back against the Cavs they only managed 91 points, while they did beat the Kings 114-111 last start, most teams are dropping 120+ on Sacramento.
When Minnesota plays at home, they have the second lowest total points coverage rate in the league, covering at just 30.8%, with five of their last six home games going unders.
Same Game Multi
Anthony Edwards has gone big the last ten games, averaging 32.8 points per game and hitting 25+ in eight of those.
Trades to James Harden and Ivica Zubac has meant a significantly greater offensive load for John Collins. The Power Forward is averaging 16.4 points from his last 16 games, hitting 15+ in 12 of those, including his last five.
Donte DiVincenzo has hit 4+ assists in 12 of his last 16 games – despite only recording 2 last start, he had hit 4+ in the four games prior to this.
