Duren suffered a similar fate with limited minutes, but he chimed in with a big 25 points to keep the Pistons in the hunt on Tuesday. He’s an excellent player with a big future, and the 15.5-point line is lower than expected.

It’s their first meeting of the season, and it should be a high-scoring affair in Detroit.

They scored a tough win over the Pistons on the road on Tuesday, which showcased their credentials. Victor Wembanyama had only 21 points, and they still gave the Eastern Conference leaders a hammering.

Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell can step up at any moment, which makes them so tough to beat. They also have De’Aaron Fox, so the Raptors could struggle to keep up in the scoring department. Therefore, take the Spurs to score a comfortable win and cover the –7.5 spread.

The Celtics rely heavily on Jaylen Brown, who is being asked to do a lot in the absence of Jayson Tatum, and that could prove too much on Thursday. Therefore, include the Nuggets –4.5 in your NBA picks this week.
