We have NBA picks and predictions for Wednesday, February 25th, which features the Mavericks vs. Nets, Thunder vs. Raptors, and Heat vs. Bucks.
Our picks include a best bet and NBA same game multi, and we’re looking forward to the NBA action this week.
Mavericks vs. Nets Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Mavericks might be without Cooper Flagg, but they have enough talent to deal with the struggling Nets, who have lost four on the bounce.
Dallas got back to winning form with a 134-130 win over Indiana, and although its defence wasn’t good, if the Mavericks score 134 points against the Nets, they should win comfortably.
We can’t see the Nets putting up much of a fight, and it’s clear that they have the NBA Draft on their minds.
—
Same Game Multi
We predict Naji Marshall and P.J. Washington to play well for the Mavericks without Flagg on the floor. They should get more scoring opportunities, and they could deliver high-scoring performances.
Marshall scored 17 points and Washington 23 in their win over the Pacers, and something close is enough for our NBA same game multi bet to cash.
Based on the defences, the game should go over 223.5 points.
—
Thunder vs. Raptors Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Thunder won’t have Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for this game, and because they’re already missing a few good players, we must take the Raptors to win.
Playing at home helps the Raptors, who come off consecutive wins over the Bulls and Bucks, and although the level of opposition increases against the defending champions, they’re playing well enough to cope.
Most of the early money with NBA odds has come for the Raptors, and the $1.93 could firm to around $1.80 on game day.
—
Same Game Multi
Spearheading the offence for the Raptors is Brandon Ingram and Scottie Barnies, who we’re predicting to score at their will.
Ingram scored 31 points against the Bulls before dropping 22 against the Bucks, and if he stays in that form, he could dominate the weakened Thunder. Back him to score over 22.5 points on Wednesday.
Barnes hasn’t been as consistent, but 17.5 points is a low number. We expect a high-scoring game, so we’re including Barnes over 17.5 points and over 217.5 total points in our NBA SGM picks.
—
Heat vs. Bucks Predictions
—
Best Bet
Looking to their win four straight game is the Heat, who took care of Memphis on the road in their most recent outing.
The 136-120 win is a good form guide for this game against the Bucks, who ended a three-game winning streak with a loss to the Raptors, where they scored only 94 points in a dour effort.
Based on that game, we’re including the Heat –5.5 in our NBA picks. They are the more consistent team, and Norman Powell is playing better than many players at his position.
—
Same Game Multi
Powell is having a big year for the Heat, and his recent scoring numbers suggest that he’ll have over 20.5 points on Wednesday. The line is generous, and it’s worth including in NBA same game multis.
Tyler Herro is also having a good year, and he’s going under the radar. We thought his line would be 19.5 points, so the 16.5 line is generous. When Herro gets hot, he can drop 17 points in the first half.
Based on the Bucks’ offence, under 228.5 points is included in the multi.
