Wyong racing tips

Race 1. (14:35) Mercure Kooindah Waters Handicap (1200m)

#7 – Tigroni @ $2.70

Money should come for Tigroni, who has experience placing in tough fields at Rosehill and Randwick.

The two-year-old filly ran second behind Fireball on debut before placing behind By Choice last start, and those are the best form guides for this race.

Her current odds could shorten to around $2.20 on race day.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 2. (15:10) Tab Highway C3 (1100m)

#12 – All Adore @ $4.20

Boasting two wins from three starts this preparation is All Adore, who only needs luck from a wide barrier to go close.

The Nick Olive-trained filly comes off a win at Sapphire Coast where she broke the clock, running a 55.31. That time is good enough to handle this field.

Dropping to 51kg is ideal, so she should win with luck from the draw.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 3. (15:45) Bronte Simpson Memorial Midway BM72 (1600m)

#7 – Oakfield Saturn @ $4.20

Winning form is with Oakfield Saturn, who is already a two-time winner this preparation, including a win at Wyong two back.

The four-year-old daughter of American Pharoah has yet to finish worse than second at the track, and getting 2kg off her back is a bonus.

Punters get each-way odds to snap up.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (14:20) Wyong Equine Clinic BM88 (2100m)

#4 – Unlimited @ $3.90

Looking to score consecutive wins is Unlimited, who was too good for them at Randwick last time out.

The six-year-old son of Saxon Warrior ran second at his only start at Wyong, and getting barrier three is a big plus around this track.

After opening at $5, money has come for him thick and fast.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (14:55) Central Coast Community News BM78 (1200m)

#8 – Mailata @ $5.00

Mailata showed good form earlier this prep when winning at Gosford, and his best form comes at the provincial tracks.

The five-year-old son of Written Tycoon hasn’t been too far away in the city since winning, and it bodes well for this race.

Weight comes off his back, so he’s worth an each-way bet.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (15:35) Lawrie McKinna Mayor’s Cup BM78 (1100m)

#11 – Beside the Ocean @ $5.00

Seeking three consecutive wins is Beside the Ocean, who looks fast enough to enjoy the rise in class.

The Chris Waller-trained filly won at Warwick Farm before scoring at Randwick by a nose last time out, and it was good seeing her dig deep.

With only 54.5kg, she can keep her winning run going.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 7. (16:15) De Bortoli Wines BM72 (1300m)

#3 – Tequila Baby @ $11.00

Boasting two wins from her last three starts is Tequila Baby, who scored at Canterbury before winning at Warwick Farm last time out.

The four-year-old mare by Capitalist owns four wins from 10 starts overall, so the strike rate is impressive.

Anna Roper takes 2kg off, and the $11 odds are generous.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 8. (16:55) Domeland Wyong Town Plate BM100 (1350m)

#1 – Accredited @ $2.15

We’re still not sure how Accredited hasn’t won this preparation, especially on November 4 when looking like a certain winner at Randwick.

The six-year-old son of All Too Hard has been facing tough fields, and he should appreciate this level of opposition on Saturday.

60.5kg is a big weight, but he’s classy enough to carry it.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 9. (17:35) Limitless Lodge Lakes Mile (1600m)

#3 – Know Thyself @ $3.00

Boasting eight wins from 12 starts is Know Thyself, who couldn’t have been more impressive when winning at Randwick last start.

The five-year-old somehow paid $11 to win, but those odds won’t be available anytime soon, and $3 is a fair price this time around.

He’s a nice type in the making, so include him in picks.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 10. (18:10) Asahi Group BM78 (1350m)

#9 – Cross Tasman @ $2.50

Since being gelded, Cross Tasman has yet to be defeated. That winning run could continue Saturday, despite drawing wide.

We expect him to roll forward from barrier 15, as he did from barrier 11 last start, and he has time before the first turn.

Money has come for him, and market confidence is a good sign.

Stake: 2 Units
