Boots couldn’t have been more impressive when winning by 6.8 lengths in a trial at Sunshine Coast.
The two-year-old colt by Capitalist is in good hands with Stuart Kendrick, and he is our top tip to make a winning debut.
We expect plenty of money to come for him throughout the week.

Mr Buster won at $1.55 odds last Saturday, and we see no reason to jump off his back.
The Chris Waller-trained son of Sea the Stars powered away for his third consecutive victory, and he’s rising the grades nicely in Queensland.
Carrying 61kg isn’t easy, but class is on his side.
Stake: 2.5 Units
The six-year-old is always around the mark with two wins and eight placings from 18 starts, and he wasn’t far away when fourth last start.
The son of Frankel is bred to be better than most runners in this field and having Ryan Maloney in the saddle is a bonus.
We’re including him in picks at each-way odds.
Stake: 1 Unit
Looking to cap off consistent form is Heyoka, who has three placings from four starts this preparation.
The four-time winner showed plenty of speed earlier in her career, and it’s only a matter of time before she wins another race.
This race is there for the taking, so she goes in the mix.
Stake: 1 Unit
Brave Monarch is a good chance of making it three consecutive wins following victories at Doomben and Eagle Farm.
The three-year-old won on November 4 when scoring by 1.5 lengths over Norty Forty, and although it wasn’t the strongest race, he was a level above.
The son of Brave Smash is set to make it three on the bounce.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Band of Brothers is getting close to posting an overdue win after another tough placing last time out.
The four-year-old son of Omaha Beach placed in both runs at Doomben this time in, and running at Sunshine Coast for the first time won’t worry him.
Barrier four is ideal, so include him picks.
Stake: 1 Unit
Victory Win brings an unbeaten record at Sunshine Coast to the table, and he only needs luck from a wide draw to win.
The impressive son of Santos owns eight wins from 20 starts, and he comes off back-to-back wins at Doomben, which is a good form guide.
Carrying 54.5kg is a luxury weight, so he should be tough to beat.
Stake: 2.5 Units
King Kapa is fresh up for Tony Gollan, and we expect a fine return from the seven-year-old.
He is a two-time winner fresh up, and he has been primed with two solid trial performances to prepare for this race.
It’s an open field, and he represents good value.
Stake: 1 Unit
Midnight Spirit is better for one run under his belt this preparation, which was a second placing at Eagle Farm behind Forgotten Spirit.
The three-year-old son of Spirit of Boom hit the line with authority, which is a good sign for this race, and he could finish off best.
Look for him to settle closer off the inside draw, which could make all the difference.
Stake: 1 Unit
Looking to build on an already impressive fresh up record is Bohemian Lad, who owns two wins and two placings from four fresh starts.
The David Vandyke-trained gelding hasn’t done much wrong throughout his career, including three wins at Sunshine Coast.
