gobet sha tin racing tips

We have expert betting tips for racing at Sha Tin on Sunday, which includes 10 races at the weekend meeting in Hong Kong.

Punters get good value odds for the Hong Kong racing feature, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Sha Tin horse racing tips

Race 1. (14:45) Shek Mun Handicap (1400m)

#3 – Riding High

Riding High wasn’t too far away from the prize fresh up when third at Sha Tin, which is a good form guide.

The five-year-old son of Exceed and Excel has yet to win at Sha Tin, and he only needs luck from the wide draw.

Having Hugh Bowman in the saddle helps, so include in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 2. (15:15) Sun Tin Wai Handicap (1000m)

#4 – Prestige Hall

Prestige Hall showed good speed last preparation when running second on debut, and he wasn’t far away last time out.

The four-year-old son of Belardo should attract attention with betting markets on race day, and it’s another good ride for Bowman.

We would be happy for anything around $5 on race day.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (15:45) Chun Shek Handicap (1800m)

#3 – Beauty Viva

Beauty Viva is better for two runs under his belt this preparation, including a tidy second placing at Sha Tin last time out.

The four-year-old is a two-time winner, and it’s only a matter of time before he puts another win on the board this season.

Having Zac Purton riding helps, so include him in picks.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 4. (16:15) Sun Chui Handicap (1400m)

#5 – California Moxie

Looking to get back to winning form is California Moxie, who scored twice at Happy Valley last time in work.

The four-year-old son of Mehmas didn’t fire last time out at Sha Tin, but he wasn’t all that far behind the winner, so it was better than it looked.

Getting an inside barrier with weight off his back is a bonus.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (17:10) Sun Chui Handicap (1400m)

#1 – Blazing Wukong

We were impressed by the second placing from Blazing Wukong fresh up, and he only has improvement to come this season.

The four-year-old son of Toronado showed good speed when winning on debut at Sha Tin and having winning form here is ideal.

He only needs luck from the wide barrier.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 6. (17:40) Lung Hang Handicap (1200m)

#3 – Packing Phoenix

Packing Phoenix was too good for them on debut when scoring at Sha Tin, and there was plenty of money for him.

He paid only $1.50, and although he meets a harder field here, punters should expect short odds for the favourite again.

Purton sticks with him, which is always a good sign.

Stake: 3 Units

Race 7. (18:10) The Sha Tin Trophy (1600m)

#1 – Voyage Bubble

The class runner of the field is Voyage Bubble, who owns 11 wins and 10 placings from 26 starts, including a last start win in the Champions & Chater Cup.

He is an incredible type who likes to hit the ground running, and we expect money to come for him heavily on race day.

Include him in horse racing multi bets this weekend.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 8. (18:45) Lek Yuen Handicap (1200m)

#5 – Star Rise

Star Rise was only a length behind the winner in his Hong Kong debut when running at $46 odds.

The four-year-old son of Puissance de Lune won at Moe and Pakenham before coming to Hong Kong, and the form is good enough to compete here.

Barrier four helps, and punters should get each-way odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (19:20) Wo Che Handicap (1400m)

#11 – Smart Avenue

Smart Avenue is another former Australian, who didn’t fire in his Hong Kong debut, but he’s better for the spell.

The four-year-old son of Shamus Award won at Pakenham by 1.8 lengths before being sold, and that form should hold up well enough.

54kg on his back helps, so include in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 10. (19:55) Sha Kok Handicap (1600m)

#7 – Morgan Success

Looking to win either side of a spell is Morgan Success, who scored by just under a length in June.

The four-year-old runs his best races at Sha Tin with a win and two placings, and he’s good enough to figure in the finish.

Bowman rides, and he could end the day on a high.

Stake: 1 Unit
