#3 – Storm Runner

Storm Runner went close to turning his form around last time out when placing at Happy Valley and getting Zac Purton in the saddle helps.

The three-year-old’s confidence got knocked when struggling to beat runners home, but they might have found something to make him happy.

#5 – Goldentronicmighty

Gunning for three consecutive wins is Goldentronicmighty, who won by two lengths two back before holding them off last time out in a driving finish.

The four-year-old son of Harry Angel has worked things out impressively this season, and there’s no reason why he can’t keep winning.

He should be tough to hold out, so include him as an each-way bet.

#4 – Fortune Boy

Looking for back-to-back wins is Fortune Boy, who scored by a half-length at Sha Tin as a $10 chance.

The odds won’t be as generous this time around with Purton riding, but he’s still worth including in picks as a strong win chance.

#4 – Voyage Boss

Voyage Boss won well on debut at Sha Tin when scoring by just under a length, and he could get the better of them again.

The three-year-old son of Darci Brahma paid $13 on debut, and although barrier 13 makes it hard, his odds will likely be shorter.

#1 – Beauty Eternal

Purton moves from riding Packing Hermod to ride Beauty Eternal, which is a telling sign for the Group 1 type.

He ran third behind Pray for Mir last time out, but his form prior came at the top level behind Red Lion. His performances were only average, but this is a drop in class.

He won a Group 1 race just over a year ago, so include on that form.

Race 7. (21:05) Emerald Handicap (1400m)

#8 – Prestige Hall

The three-year-old gelding did well to finish second on debut at Sha Tin, which should be a solid form guide for this race.

He finished two lengths behind the winner as a $16 chance, and he’ll only appreciate having that run under his belt.

Victorian provincial form doesn’t always stack up well in Hong Kong, but he ran second behind Ruakaka Raider two back, who has form in the city.

Boasting two wins from five starts is Flash Current, who won at Sha Tin in February before getting back to winning form last time out.

It’s another premium ride for Purton, who could have a big meet.
