Falcon Gold wasn’t far away when running second fresh up, and that’s a step in the right direction for the three-year-old.
It was his first placing from five career starts, and although his overall form isn’t flash, it’s good enough to handle this field.
We’re happy to include him in picks at the price.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Hellinda is a speedy type on his day, and he comes into this race with two wins from his last three starts.
The five-year-old son of Hellbent won at Bathurst and Gundagai, with his only flop coming in a tough race at Randwick.
He won his only start at Sapphire Coast, and the 3kg claim is a bonus.
Stake: 2 Units
Looking to cap off four consecutive placings with a win is Rose Diamond, who owns seven placings from nine starts overall.
The four-year-old mare by Fastnet Rock ran third at Sapphire Coast two starts back before going one better at Nowra.
That’s solid enough form to consider for this race.
Stake: 1.5 Units
He ended his last preparation with good form, and the four-year-old son of Hellbent could hit the ground running.
His fresh up stats aren’t the best, with two starts for no wins or placings, but there isn’t too much depth to this field, so he could take advantage.
Barrier five is no ideal, and punters get each-way odds.
Stake: 1 Unit
Looking for back-to-back wins is Hard to Go Wrong, who turned his form around with a win at Sapphire Coast.
Having form on the board at the track is good to see, especially when he’s running at double-figure odds, which are good value.
He’s consistent enough to include in picks at the price.
Stake: 1 Unit
You Count is getting close to exiting maiden grades after posting three placings from five starts, and she’s still in her first preparation.
The four-year-old mare by Rich Enuff posted three consecutive placings earlier this prep, including one at Sapphire Coast.
Barrier three should make him tough to hold out.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Sunrise Ridge was too good for them at Sapphire Coast last start, and a repeat of that performance could be on the cards.
The three-year-old filly by Star Turn defeated only a field of five, but it was a good performance, and she will only build from it.
She has drawn well, which adds to her appeal.
Stake: 1.5 Units
