Imzada has two starts for two sixths, which doesn’t look ideal, but those runs came against tough fields at Caulfield.

The two-year-old filly by Alabama Express took on tough opposition last time out, so dropping back to midweek company helps.

Take the $2.70 before money comes for her late.

Race 2. (13:00) MRC Membership Feel the Thrill BM70 (1300m)

#1 – Sirius Statement @ $5.50

Looking to run well at each-way odds is Sirius Statement, who is already a three-time winner this preparation.

The five-year-old mare by Press Statement has yet to fire in two attempts at Sandown, but she’s good enough to handle this level of opposition.

$5.50 is an excellent price, and she should give punters a good sight.

#1 – All Business @ $4.00

All Business was all business when winning at Pakenham earlier this preparation, and she hasn’t been far away from the mark since.

The three-year-old daughter of Toronado comes off a second placing at Sandown, and that’s an excellent form guide for this race.

Getting 3kg off her back is ideal, and the odds are appealing.

Race 4. (14:10) Tobin Brothers Celebrating Lives BM70 (1600m)

#12 – Sound It Out @ $5.00

Chris Waller lines up Sound It Out, who won at Kyneton to get things started this preparation before returning to form last start.

The four-year-old mare by Galileo is bred to enjoy rising in distance, and it’s only a matter of time before she lines up over 2400m.

Running over the mile is fine, and getting each-way odds helps.

Race 5. (14:45) Race Replays BM70 (1200m)

#4 – La Fracas @ $3.10

Boasting three wins from eight starts is La Fracas, who won at Mornington last time out by two lengths in heavy conditions.

The four-year-old son of Night of Thunder has yet to win at any time except fresh up, but he could have matured this time around.

Getting 3kg off his back should be enough to take him close.

Race 6. (15:20) Thoroughbred Club of Australia BM74 (2400m)

#4 – Bluestone @ $5.50

Bluestone has been in work for some time now, but he keeps running well, so we’re giving him one more chance.

The Michael Kent-trained gelding won his first two starts this prep before placing at Sandown in two subsequent runs. That’s good enough form for this race.

Getting $5.50 is an ideal price in what is an even field.

#15 – Vail Mountain @ $8.00

It has been a long time between drinks for Vail Mountain, but he’s getting close after finishing second at Sandown last time out.

The six-year-old son of Flying Artie doesn’t know how to run a bad race, so punters get a consistent runner to back.

The odds from bookmakers are generous.

Race 8. (16:30) Same Race Multi BM78 (1600m)

#5 – Kahhof @ $5.50

Looking to get back to winning form is Kahhof, who won at Sandown two back before placing at Flemington behind Cafe Millennium.

That’s a strong form guide for midweek racing and having two weeks between runs should have him fit and ready to fire.

He’s yet to finish worse than second from five starts at Sandown, which bodes well.
