Team Hayes lines up Talladega Girl, who comes off two jumpout wins at Pakenham and Flemington, which is good form.

The two-year-old filly by Alabama Express opened at $4.40 before moving to $4.60, but we’re not concerned by the betting drift.

It’s an even field, so put her on top.

Race 2. (12:35) Ladbrokes Owners Bonus Maiden (1013m)

#4 – Yes We Are @ $2.70

Looking to cap off consecutive second placings is Yes We Are, who finished second at Pakenham and Seymour.

The three-year-old son of Yes Yes Yes doesn’t need to improve too much to beat this field, and we’re happy with the $2.70 odds available.

She is worth including in horse racing multis.

#2 – Quello Dorato @ $3.70

Looking to win at each-way odds is Quello Dorato, who showed good early speed to place at Geelong before battling for sixth last time out.

The four-year-old son of Trapeze Artist is a half-brother to Bella Nipotina, so there are high expectations, and he shouldn’t take long to win.

The three-year-old son of Tivaci owns four placings from seven starts, and although he has drawn wide, he has time to find cover.

Money has come for him, which is a good sign.

The four-year-old son of Puissance de Lune owns two wins and five placings, and his best form comes on rain-affected tracks.

The four-year-old son of Street Boss owns a win and a placing at Sale, so he doesn’t need to improve too much to win this race.

2kg comes off his back to help, so he’s worth including in picks.

Getting the inside draw with weight off his back is ideal, and he has yet to finish worse than third in two starts at Sale.

He should be tough to beat on Wednesday.
