gobet rosehill racing tips

We have expert betting tips for racing at Rosehill on Saturday, which includes 10 races at the premier meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the New South Wales meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Rosehill racing tips

Race 1. (11:00) Midway BM72 (1300m)

#2 – Rolling Magic @ $7.00

Rolling Magic has solid fresh up form without winning, and the four-year-old is good enough to beat this Midway field.

The son of Per Incanto owns three wins and three placings from 10 starts, and he has been prepared with solid trials.

Getting the inside draw could be enough to see his winning form return.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 2. (11:35) Highway Handicap C3 (1500m)

#3 – Warrior for Peace @ $4.80

Warrior for Peace won well at Scone two back before placing at Rosehill last time out, and both are good form guides.

The three-year-old son of Saxon Warrior wasn’t far behind Boys Night Out last start, and it has since won again last Saturday.

We’re happy with the each-way odds for this runner.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (12:10) Captivant Kia Ora BM72 (1400m)

#9 – Puntin @ $3.80

Puntin doesn’t know how to run a bad race after posting three wins and two placings from five starts, including a fresh up placing at Canterbury.

The three-year-old gelding is a model of consistency, and he only needs to settle handy to kick clear at the top of the straight.

We’re happy to include him at the current odds.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 4. (12:45) Precise Air BM78 (1400m)

#7 – Changing Colours @ $5.00

Looking to cap off consistent form is Changing Colours, who comes off four consecutive placings this preparation.

The four-year-old mare by The Autumn Sun has finished in the money in all eight career starts, so punters always get a good sight.

Getting $5 and $1.80 to place is a solid each-way bet.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 5. (13:20) Tab BM72 (1100m)

#1 – Spywire @ $6.50

Spywire has a big race placing to his name, and although he hasn’t done much since, we’re happy to give him another chance.

The three-year-old gelding has over $600,000 to his name, and after pleasing at the recent trials, he should come back with a big effort.

Look for a market push on race day with this runner.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (13:55) Schweppes BM88 (1500m)

#2 – Thunderlips @ $4.00

Thunderlips has always thrived on confidence, and after winning two of his last three starts, he looks ready to win again.

The Bjorn Baker-trained gelding owns five wins from nine starts in soft ground, so the conditions this time of the year are right up his alley.

Take the each-way odds before more money comes for him.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 7. (14:35) Irresistible Pools Stayer’s Cup BM90 (2400m)

#8 – Casual Connection @ $4.00

Casual Connection is an experienced type coming off a win and a placing at Randwick, so his recent form has been tidy.

The eight-time winner is only a one-time winner at Rosehill, but he meets an even field on Saturday, and he’s good enough to take advantage.

Dropping to 53kg should see him run close.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 8. (15:15) Asahi Super Dry BM78 (1800m)

#12 – Federer @ $4.40

Federer hasn’t been serving up the same runs as what he showed early in his career, but we’re giving him another chance.

The four-year-old son of Dundeel couldn’t have been more impressive in winning his first two starts, but his fitness levels have increased now.

The early money has come, which is the best sign.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 9. (15:50) Toyota Forklifts W J McKell Cup (2000m)

#3 – Elamaz @ $4.40

Elamaz is a European import for the Waterhouse/Bott stable, and they usually win first-up in Australia.

The five-year-old was a $860,000 purchase following four wins and three placings from seven starts, and we don’t think it’ll take connections long to recoup their money.

He should be winning down under very soon.

Stake: 3 Units

Race 10. (16:30) Chandon BM78 (1200m)

#12 – Snack Bar @ $5.00

We have stuck with Snack Bar this preparation, and following a second placing at Rosehill, we’re giving him another go.

The three-year-old son of Frosted is better than a two-time winner, and his best form comes with a bit of moisture in the surface.

Take the $5 odds before money comes for him late.

Stake: 1 Unit
