gobet rosehill racing tips

We have expert betting tips for racing at Rosehill on Saturday, which includes 10 races at the premier meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the New South Wales meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Rosehill racing tips

Race 1. (12:30) Midway BM72 (1500m)

#3 – Iceman @ $4.00

Consistency is with Iceman, who ran second at Rosehill fresh up, which should be a tidy form guide.

The four-year-old son of Rubick finished second behind Alabama State in a tough Midway, so he could find this easier.

Barrier two is ideal, and he will give punters a good sight.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 2. (13:05) Highway Handicap C3 (1300m)

#11 – Rose Aye @ $3.70

Rose Aye was heavily backed to win last time out when running fourth, and we’re happy to give her another chance.

The four-year-old mare by Supido didn’t get all favours in the run, and we rated that Highway slightly better than this.

The wide barrier makes it tough, but luck takes her close.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 3. (13:40) Queen Bee Project Sprint BM78 (1100m)

#4 – Arriving Home @ $10.00

It’s a hot field on Saturday, including the unbeaten Bev’s Nine, but we have landed on Arriving Home.

The Bjorn Baker-trained mare won her first two starts at Warwick Farm and Randwick before running third at Gold Coast at the Magic Millions meeting.

She has plenty of upside and is worth including in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (14:15) The Agency Real Estate BM78 (1300m)

#12 – La Roja @ $5.50

Looking to cap off three consecutive second placings is La Roja, who found Cinsault just too good last time out.

The Peter Snowden-trained mare is only a two-time winner from 12 starts, but she has yet to finish worse than second in three starts at the distance.

She should provide punters with another good sight on Saturday.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (14:50) Racing and Sports BM100 (1400m)

#2 – Lord Penman @ $3.00

Lord Penman was good enough to run in the NZB Kiwi, and although his form since coming to Australia has been mixed, the talent is still there.

He finished second behind Linebacker two starts back, which was a massive effort, and he had excuses behind Autumn Glow in the Golden Eagle.

This is much easier, so treat him with respect.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 6. (15:25) Chandon Silver Slipper Stakes (1100m)

#2 – Hidrix @ $4.60

Coming off an impressive debut win is Hidrix, who wasn’t expected to score by 1.8 lengths at Group 3 level.

The two-year-old son of Extreme Choice paid $13 when beating Confederation, and we expect him to run well again.

Betting is always a good guide, so look for a move on race day.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (16:00) Parramatta Cup (1900m)

#6 – Travolta @ $3.90

Travolta ran well for fourth fresh up at Randwick behind Sun God, which should be a tidy form guide for this race.

The five-year-old son of Lope de Vega has yet to finish worse than second at Rosehill and over the distance, so the stats read well.

It’s an open staying field, but include him on your ticket.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 8. (16:35) Kia Ora Hobartville Stakes (1400m)

#1 – Autumn Boy @ $3.80

Autumn Boy comes off a Group 1 Guineas win at Caulfield, and he won’t mind resuming over 1400m.

There are some smart types in this field, but Chris Waller’s charge could be superior, and it’s headlined by the son of The Autumn Sun.

He’s all class, and he will be warming up with a big late run.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 9. (17:15) Vinery Stud Millie Fox Stakes (1300m)

#1 – Lazzura @ $2.50

Lazzura was scratched last Saturday, but Waller has found a winnable race this time around.

The talented mare by Snitzel owns five wins from 14 starts, and she showed her best form last spring when winning at Randwick and Flemington.

Her natural ability should be enough to take her close against this field.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 10. (17:55) Rosehill Bowling Club BM94 (1100m)

#2 – Kerguelen @ $8.50

Boasting a good fresh up record is Kerguelen, who has two wins and a placing from three first-up attempts.

The Joe Pride-trained gelding also loves racing at Rosehill, and he has been kept up to the mark with two recent trials.

He comes off a win to end his last prep, and he could hit the ground running.

Stake: 1.5 Units
