Exit Fee has shown potential throughout his preparation, and he could fire up in a fresh state on Saturday.

The three-year-old gelding by Ten Sovereigns owns two wins and two placings from eight starts, including a placing at Randwick.

The three-year-old filly by Deep Field will need a touch of luck from a wide barrier but getting in with 55.5kg makes her tough to beat.

The four-year-old mare by The Autumn Sun owns four wins from 11 starts, so her overall record is good enough to handle this field.

Getting the inside draw with Nash riding adds to her appeal.

#2 – Sounds Unusual @ $5.50

That might have come at midweek level, but he has shown promise throughout his career, and this isn’t an overly strong Saturday field.

The Chris Waller-trained import comes off consecutive placings at Hawkesbury and Randwick, so he’s still running well without winning.

Getting in with 54.5kg could turn the tables in his favour.

He is a talented son of Highland Reel, who we thought would be the favourite to win this easier race than what he faced last start.

One runner that loves racing on rain-affected tracks is Kerguelen, who owns three wins and three second placings from six starts.

The James Cummings-trained gelding is unbeaten in two starts over the distance, and getting in with only 52kg on his back is a steal.

He rises in class, but this race looks right up his alley.
