Randwick racing tips
—
Oui Oui Oui carried plenty of betting support when scoring at Randwick last time out, and she has been well-backed again.
The four-year-old mare by Yes Yes Yes is not only well named, but she owns a 50% win rate with four wins from eight starts.
That’s enough for us to back her in the opening race.
Stake: 2 Units
We were happy with the way Lady Olenna ran through the line at Randwick last start, and she is worth backing again.
The four-year-old mare by Shalaa followed up a second placing at Rosehill with a good run, and it won’t take her long to get back to winning form.
Getting in with 55.5kg should be enough to take her close.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Bjorn Baker lines up Masvingo, who hit the line well enough for third at Wyong last start, and that should be a good form guide.
The two-year-old filly comes from a stable that has an excellent record with its youngsters, and getting the inside draw is ideal.
Money has come for her, so include her in picks.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Not much went right for Just Party last time out, who got a touch too far back on a day when they were winning from the front.
The four-year-old is on the quick back up, and facing a smaller field should see him settle handier to the pace, and he could strike at the top of the straight.
He’s much better than a one-time winner, so keep following him.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Ice Kool made a good impression when winning on debut at Warwick Farm by 3.5 lengths, and he could rise through the grades in style.
The three-year-old son of Zoustar makes a steep rise in class to BM72, but the stable has a big opinion on him, and money has come after opening at $3.
Getting in with 54kg is a bonus, so include him in horse racing multis.
Stake: 2 Units
Looking for consecutive wins is Dances with Hooves, who scored at Mudgee by a length over Rematch last start.
That form should hold up well in the city, and the five-year-old owns six wins from 21 starts, so her strike rate is impressive.
She owns a second placing at Randwick, and having form here boosts her chances of winning.
Stake: 1 Unit
Boasting consistent form this season is Rubi’s Serve, who scored a win at Randwick before adding placings at Newcastle and Rosehill.
The five-year-old mare doesn’t mind a bit of moisture in the surface, and she hasn’t been given much respect by bookmakers.
We rate her at $7, so take the value odds.
Stake: 1 Unit
Snack Bar was beaten on the line last time out, but we’re not entirely sure how he managed to throw it away.
It was another painful defeat for punters who back him consistently, but after four close finishes, he looks ready to win.
If his form holds, he should beat this field.
Stake: 2 Units
At his best, Raf Attack would beat this field, so we’re giving him one more chance to show something.
The Ciaron Maher-trained gelding is only a two-time winner, but he has more than $445,000 in the bank, and he contested big races.
If he gets luck from out wide, he could figure in the finish.
Stake: 1 Unit
Punters get value odds for Frontex, who got back to winning form at Randwick last start, and that’s a good form guide.
The five-year-old son of Territories owns three wins and three placings from nine starts overall, so he has been a profitable bet.
Look for him to hold the rail and kick strongly.
Stake: 1.5 Units
