The five-year-old daughter of Savabeel won her only start at Pakenham, so returning to this track should be ideal after racing in tough fields at Sandown.

#4 – Algorithmic @ $2.30

The three-year-old son of Zoustar gets all favours off the inside draw, and rising to the mile could be what he needs to put it all together.

His current odds are likely to firm on race day, so take the opening offer.

#4 – Good Feel @ $7.00

Money has come for Good Feel after opening at $15, and that’s a good sign from the Hawkes stable.

The two-year-old colt by Hanseatic wasn’t far away when placing in two jumpouts at Flemington, so he has shown good speed.

Barrier three is ideal, so although the opening price is gone, take the $7.

#8 – Off their Perch @ $5.50

Patrick and Michelle Payne line up Off their Perch, who won on debut at Echuca before placing at Sandown last time out.

The three-year-old filly by Shamus Award appeared to have needed the fresh up run, so she will be better for it.

We expect her to sit just off the pace before coming with a late run.

#2 – Cyber Link @ $4.40

Cyber Link has attracted attention on debut after showing speed at the trials, including a win at Caulfield.

That’s often good form for Friday night racing at Pakenham, and the three-year-old colt by Bivouac is bred to show early speed.

Look for a market push on race night as the best guide.

#1 – Blankfield @ $3.90

Blankfield owns two placings from two starts at Cranbourne, which is usually a good form guide for racing at Pakenham.

The three-year-old son of Blue Point opened at $3.40 before drifting, but we see no reason to jump off his back.

Barrier two should see him settle forward and give punters a good sight.
