The five-year-old son of Dissident won second-up last preparation, and he should be tough to beat against this level of opposition.

Carrying a big weight isn’t ideal, but class takes him close.

Race 3. (16:05) The Oriana Orange BM82 (1600m)

#2 – Knife’s Edge @ $6.50

Punters get value odds for Knife’s Edge, who is a two-time winner with a run under his belt.

The nine-year-old has a wealth of experience under her belt, and he is a four-time winner over the distance, which adds to his appeal.

There isn’t much over this field, so take the odds.

#2 – Currahee @ $12.00

The four-year-old mare by Churchill doesn’t know how to run a bad race, so we’re surprised by the $15 odds available with bookmakers, and she could firm to around $11.
