He’s bred to win a Derby and we expect him to be right around the mark at each-way odds.

It’s time to suit up as we believe Tuxedo will be figuring in the finish. His form is excellent, including a top win last time out.

It’s an even betting field with the first five favourites, and we’re not leaving him out as the current odds.

The three-year-old colt by Justify ran second behind Thedoctoroflove last start, so we’re happy to include him in our first four picks.

Forget Willydoit went around in the Avondale Guineas. The extremely slow pace of the race gave him no chance of winning, but his form prior was great.

He’s the worthy favourite and we expect him to get back to his best at Ellerslie on Saturday.

Co-trainer Roger James knows how to train Derby winners, and Oceana Dream is a worthy contender.

He won at Tauranga and Ellerslie before placing last time out, which should be a good enough form guide for the New Zealand Derby.
