gobet murray bridge racing tips

We have expert betting tips for racing at Murray Bridge on Saturday, which includes nine races at the premier meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the South Australian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Murray Bridge racing tips

Race 1. (12:02) Chapman Heavy Mechanical Maiden (1200m)

#8 – Halliwell @ $3.50

Halliwell showed good form during her first preparation, including running fourth at Morphetville last time out.

The four-year-old mare by Niagara owns three placings from four starts, and this level of racing should be right up her alley.

We’re happy with the $3.50 odds available.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 2. (12:37) Prime Irrigation BM68 (1200m)

#2 – Out of Square @ $4.80

Out of Square is a proven winner this preparation with three wins from four starts, so we’re happy to include her in picks.

The three-year-old filly by Hellbent won at Morphettville at $10 odds last time out, and we’re not surprised by the shorter odds.

She should be right in the thick of the action on Saturday.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (13:12) PLC Fencing Straight Up BM86 (1200m)

#6 – Let’s Get Down @ $3.20

Let’s Get Down owns two wins this preparation, including one last time out at Morphettville by 1.5 lengths.

The four-year-old son of Better than Ready owns five wins and eight placings, and he’s yet to finish worse than second at Murray Bridge.

Punters should take the odds available from bookmakers.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 4. (13:47) B & L Cox Electrical BM74 (1600m)

#8 – Snoopy Now @ $2.60

Snoopy Now is an excellent bet at $2.60 after failing to fire in the SA Derby, and this is a massive drop in class.

The three-year-old son of Sir Prancelot won well over 1800m three back, and although 1600m could be short of his best, he has the class edge.

Barrier two is ideal and the $2.60 odds should firm to around $2.10.

Stake: 4 Units

Race 5. (14:22) Daish Irrigation & Fodder BM78 (2500m)

#7 – There Goes My Hero @ $4.80

There Goes My Hero comes off four consecutive placings, including a third placing at Murray Bridge.

The son of No Nay Never is a two-time winner from 18 starts, and he has enough ability to put this field away on Saturday.

Getting 2kg off his back is enough to see him win.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (14:57) Eastside Bearing & Bolts BM64 (900m)

#13 – Mazovia @ $7.50

Punters get each-way value for Mazovia, who improved to run third at Oakbank last time out.

The four-year-old mare by Impending is unbeaten in two starts at Murray Bridge, which is her best asset for this race.

Dropping to 55kg doesn’t hurt her chances.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 7. (15:37) Mosel Surveying BM68 (1100m)

#11 – Hajra @ $4.60

Hajra hasn’t been too far away in three starts this preparation, and she owns two wins and a placing from three starts at Murray Bridge.

The daughter of Zoustar should enjoy getting back to this track, and there are no superstars in this field, so look for her to take advantage.

The $4.60 odds are mostly based on her draw, but she can overcome it.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 8. (16:17) Inspired Accounting BM66 (1800m)

#1 – Under the Cone @ $4.50

Punters get better odds than expected for Under the Cone, who won three back before placing in two runs at Morphettville.

The four-year-old son of Starcraft has yet to win at Murray Bridge, but he has been close, so that bodes well for a good run.

Carrying 61kg isn’t easy, but his class could take him close.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (16:55) Mulch N More BM70 (1400m)

#10 – The Mansman @ $9.00

Looking to build on a solid fresh up fifth is The Mansman, who owns three wins and six placings from 16 starts.

The four-year-old son of Almanzor is a two-time winner at Murray Bridge and at the distance, and he only needs cover from the wide barrier.

This race is there for the taking, so the odds are generous.

Stake: 1 Unit
