Write Your Own has become an expensive runner to follow, but we’re giving him another chance.

The Matthew Dale-trained gelding came from Victoria with a solid record, and he showed good early signs in NSW, but his recent form has tapered off in harder races.

C3 grade gives him a chance to recapture his best form.

The three-year-old filly was beaten by only 3.5 lengths, and she will only benefit from having that run under her belt.

#2 – Jamarni @ $5.50

Jamarni has yet to fire in two runs at Moruya, but he should turn his form around against this level of opposition.

The four-year-old son of Pride of Dubai runs his best races on good surfaces, so conditions should be right up his alley.

She Within is the multi-bet builder of the day, and she should easily account for this field as a $1.60 favourite.

The Danny Williams-trained mare won her maiden at Moruya before venturing to Randwick and Rosehill, and she comes off a placing at Rosehill behind a nice type.

It’s good form for this race, so she should win by a couple of lengths.

Race 6. (16:30) Moruya Mitre 10 Plate (1200m)

#11 – Your Not the Boss @ $4.80

The six-year-old gelding runs at each-way odds following a tidy third placing at Moruya last start, which is the best form guide for this race.

He is a two-time winner at the track from six starts, and he also has three placings, so he loves racing here.

Getting in with 55kg is a steal, so he’s weighted to score.
