Morphettville racing tips

Whiskey Joe went down fighting last week after doing plenty of work in the run, and it was a credible effort.
We’re happy to stick with the three-year-old colt, and it’s good to see the trainers back him up after just seven days.
He could have a bright future, and a better trip in transit should be enough to win.
Stake: 2.5 Units
It hasn’t been an easy watch for win punters of Capulet, but we’re giving her another chance to score an overdue win.
The five-year-old keeps running good races and finding one or two better. However, her placing at Morphettville last start is a good form guide.
Rising to 2500m won’t worry her, so she’s the top winning hope here.
Stake: 1 Unit
Gunning for three consecutive wins is Falaise, who won at Murray Bridge before doubling down with a win at Morphettville.
He hit the line impressively to win on the line last start, and something close to that effort should be good enough to win on Saturday.
It’s an even field, but he can’t be left out of picks.
Stake: 1.5 Units
The Guava is another runner that isn’t easy to follow, but he could represent good value in what is a moderate field.
He got back to better form when placing at Mt Gambier, and although the opposition wasn’t strong, he runs well at Morphettville with a win and placing.
We recommend taking the odds in a small wager.
Stake: 1 Unit
Zoupurring has got back to winning form this preparation with three victories in four starts, and we’re backing him to score another.
There is more depth to this field, but the Phillip Stokes-trained gelding won by 1.3 lengths last start to remain unbeaten at the track.
Getting in with 54kg on his back is enough to take him close.
Stake: 1.5 Units
A danger down in the weights is Komachi, who won earlier this prep at Morphettville, and she is good enough to get back to winning form.
The eight-year-old son of Kingman will appreciate getting in with only 54kg on his back, and his experience and weight should take him close.
Look for him to get back and hit the line with purpose.
Stake: 1 Unit
Getting close to posting an overdue win is Worsfold, who has turned his form around with back-to-back second placings.
The nine-year-old son of Shamus Award ran second at this track before placing at Murray Bridge, and he doesn’t need to improve much to beat this field.
Having Todd Pannell riding is a bonus, so include him in picks.
Stake: 1 Unit
All Too Mysti is worth following, and it should be only a matter of time before she puts another win on the board.
She owns one win and seven placings from 11 starts, so the consistency is there, and her best form comes with Jake Toeroek in the saddle.
If she gets luck from a wide draw, she should fight out the finish.
Stake: 2 Units
Murph has hit a purple patch of form after posting back-to-back wins, and he should be tough to beat on Saturday.
The four-year-old son of Magnus owns three wins and four placings from 10 starts, so there is a lot to like about his overall record.
Getting 1.5kg off his back is ideal, so include him in horse racing picks.
Stake: 2 Units
