gobet moe racing tips

We have expert betting tips for racing at Moe on Tuesday, which includes nine races.

Punters get good value odds for the Victorian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Moe racing tips

Race 1. (12:30) S&S Equipment & Hire Maiden (1200m)

#9 – Castlefield Flyer @ $4.40

Castlefield Flyer did well to run second on debut at Moe, and that’s a good form guide for this race.

The three-year-old filly by Fleet Review wasn’t far behind Iced Chocolate as a $6.50 chance, and it’s no surprise to see shorter odds.

Include her in picks as a shortening runner with bookmakers.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 2. (13:00) Harvey Norman Moe Maiden (1000m)

#11 – Sun Setting @ $1.80

Money has come for Sun Setting, who ran second at Mornington in two runs last preparation.

The three-year-old filly by Pierata wasn’t too far behind a speedy type in Speir, and that’s the best form guide for this race.

After opening at $2.05, money has come thick and fast.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 3. (13:30) Moe Cup Day Save the Date Maiden (1200m)

#10 – Isla Umi @ $3.80

Isla Umi showed glimpses of good form during her first preparation, including a second placing at Sale two starts back.

The four-year-old mare has since placed in a trial at Donald, and we rate form at Donald, so that’s good to see.

Barrier three is ideal, so take the each-way odds.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 4. (14:00) Ladbrokes Owners Bonus Maiden (1600m)

#13 – Taste of Wine @ $2.50

Michael Kent lines up the three-year-old filly who ran third on debut at Yarra Valley before finishing fourth at Mornington.

Those are strong form guides for racing at Moe, and rising in distance to the mile looks ideal for the daughter of Pierro.

We’re not surprised by the odds, which adds to our confidence.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 5. (14:30) Ladbrokes Form Genius BM52 (1200m)

#7 – Pammy Joy @ $11.00

Double-figure odds value is with Pammy Joy, who is a three-time winner and overdue a winning performance.

The six-year-old daughter of Nicconi runs her best races over the distance with nine starts for two wins and two placings.

She needs luck from the draw, but the odds make it worth the risk.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (15:00) Moe Refrigeration BM52 (1200m)

#12 – Eucalypt @ $10.00

Eucalypt scored a recent win against easier opposition, but there are no standout runners in this field.

The four-year-old son of Vadamos isn’t always the most consistent type going around, but carrying 54kg could take him close.

Put a small wager on him against a field that’s not overly impressive.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (15:30) RMBL Investments Rising Stars BM64 (1600m)

#4 – Makdane @ $3.00

Looking to post an overdue win is Makdane, who owns a win and five placings from nine career starts.

The four-year-old son of Impending has mixed form this season, including a third placing at Cranbourne two starts back.

Getting 3kg off his back is enough to see him beat this field.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 8. (16:00) Ladbrokes Mates Mode Pots BM58 (2050m)

#4 – Van Gerwen @ $6.00

We’re hoping Van Gerwen can hit a bullseye on Tuesday following a tidy third placing fresh up at Sale.

The four-year-old was always going to appreciate a longer race, and rising to 2050m should be right up his alley.

Dropping in class helps, so include the son of Iffraaj in betting picks.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 9. (16:30) Kis Communications Handicap (1000m)

#8 – Master of Chant @ $8.50

Each-way value is with Master of Chant, who won at Sale earlier this preparation before getting back to form when placing last start.

His form at Moe isn’t anything to write home about, but this race is there for the taking, and barrier three adds to his appeal.

We expect him to be right around the mark.

Stake: 1 Unit
